How did everyone pay?
Hi girls, just wondering how did everyone pay for theirs if you don't mind me asking? I'm thinking of saving up half but then paying the rest on a 0% credit card coz otherwise I'll be waiting ages. Just wanna see if this is common or whether everyone else is more sensible and saves it all up first.

Re: How did everyone pay?
I put mine on a CC. Didnt want to spend all my rainy day money at once and I can pay it off within 12 months to benefit from the 0%.

Re: How did everyone pay?
I planned to save it all, but then my budgeting wasn't upto scratch! I ended up paying half in cash, then got a £2000 loan with my bank which will be paid off in 12 months.x

Re: How did everyone pay?
I didnt save up either, although my "bank" loan is a bit different. It was actually my folks that helped me pay for the majority of it (i only put down the deposit), i still have deadline of 12 months to pay it back (my idea otherwise I'd put it off constantly).

I'm hoping next re-op will be FREE!
So far my boobs have cost me £7295.
I payed for the lot in cash.

Out of curiosity, was the rupture not covered in the warranty? Or is this excess that wasn't covered? Seems quite a lot to say the implant was faulty and needed replacement. X

Re: How did everyone pay?
This makes me feel better about paying half of it with a loan. I was worried that I'd get stressed if I had payments to meet but I think it's do-able and that way I'll definitely save rather than waste money my boyfriend won't help me out with it, miderable sod. He thinks I should be saving up for a house deposit rather than new boobs. I'd rather have a great rack!

Just reading now and wow, definitely saving up to be on the safe side. Clearly can't rely on aftercare as security for the future!x

Definately a good idea hun, my story isn't a one off either, I hear time and time again of women paying after-care and then having to fight for the use of it when they're in need of revision. It just shouldn't happen, but sadly it does. xx

Clearly more interested in money rather than the well-being of their patients, but that's not a surprise as it's the case with most organisations! I only got as far as your update after your op as there's a lot of pages I'd be up all night ...very insightful though!x
