To even asymetrical breasts, one may be much larger than the other, so they stretch out the skin of the smaller breast. Others may have no tissue at all.

I think these are used for post masectomy reconstruction patients, and for some cases of tuberous breast correction.

Oh thanks for that both of u,
I thought I was completely flat, but I have had 2 kids, so my skin has stretched then gone back to norm, but is pretty stretchy & roomy for something to fit in if you know what i mean lol I am wearing a 32A so I guess Im not as flat as some women can be.
I cant bleeding wait till 31st may so excited!!!! Woooooooooop! :))))) x

I was given this option if i wanted to put a large implant in coz of mild tuberous, however wasn't worth complications after with a big heavy implant, hence went for a small implant instead. Don't know how much more it would've cost thou but wasn't worth the hassle. Xx

Re: Why do some people need tissue expanders??
I had my op yesterday, I was a small b cup by measurements but looked an a cup, I had no tissue below areolar. surgeon said I would end up a full c cup, maybe measure d cup in some bras. Was the max I could have to get best results as I'm mild tuberous plus my rib cage is quite **naughty word** up, one side sticks out further than the other!!!!! Xxxx
