Net Guardian??? Empty Net Guardian???

Post by kay 22nd April 2012, 9:04 pm

The last two times I have emptied my temp internet folders and cleared my cache out, when I try to log in to the site I get a message from BJSF that says there has been suspicious activity on my account and that I need to click a link to verify my account.....

I click the link and I get taken to a page run by 'onlineguardian' and there's a box asking for my login and then I have to type the two random words I can see into another box......

I do this but the page just refreshes over and over again when I hit send..........and I can't log in shrug it goes on for ages and then I have to shut everything down and delete history etc and then I come back to BJSF and it lets me log in..........

Any mods able to shed light or got any ideas???? shrug

Thanks x

Thanks Cookie xx

It's really weird, I've never seen it before and it would be fine if it worked properly but I enter my username and the two random words over and over, maybe 10 / 15 times and it just refreshes the page hissy very frustrating xx

Also got me a bit worried saying that there was 'suspicious activity' on my account??? xx

I've just checked my Norton safe web and I can't see any potential threats on the site whatsoever

Net Guardian??? Threat

I'm just thinking Kay, is there any chance your comp might have picked up some malware? Have you scanned your computer recently? It just seems very strange that you're being re-directed to a site that has no affiliation with BJSF doesn't it babe. xx

I have a Mac Cookie, they don't get malware or viruses thankfully xx

I have never seen the site before and it was only when I cleared my cache xx

Oh well, I'll just block the site online guardian, hopefully that will fix it x

Thanks Cookie xx

Not that I'm aware of Kay shrug Roxy or Nads would know better than me though sweetness.

Roxy hasn't been online yet, but I have left a message for her Kay, making her aware of the problem, so she'll see it as soon as she comes online.
