Re: After op- Asymmetry, bottoming out, 2nd opinion.
Hi girls
I am still under pressure to read as much as I can about my exsisting problem.
Question to you all.. do you think that I have bottoming out or just asymetry?
Should I have "pocket revision"? or general revision to improve uneveness of my breast?
thank you

It could be slight bottoming out on the right xx it's difficult to tell as the asymmetry and nipple position is magnifying matters xx
Whatever revision you have will be down to the PS who does it to decide as to what he can do with what he has to work with, if that makes sense xx That might mean pocket revision or it might mean a different approach xx
The one thing I can tell you is that unfortunately it is very very difficult to correct bottoming out xx

Hi eve 83, sorry to hear about all your problems, it starts to get you down!
I bottomed out after my 1st op, this was in july last year. I had 410 hp overs, and early on, they bottomed out. All what you described was the same as mine, it also happened to both of them. I had revision last month, I'm 6 weeks post op. Theyve already dropped quite a lot from where they were 1st placed, my surgeon changed my implants to 390 low profile (which he told me they were moderate!) and I also have very large scars underneath, theyre not very nice at all.
Ive not been back to see my surgeon as yet, but I'm not happy with the outcome, but I was told it may not work, but at the time you think theres nothing else to do but to go through with it incase it does work.
I guess because you havent gotten private youre feeling like you cant do anything about it, good for you that youve asked for a second opinion though, keep us posted about once youve been xx

Hi, I had I wonder if thats what I had. I got PIPs put in Dec 2009 and have just yesterday had them removed and replaced with Nagors. It wasnt until I took my before photos for the solicitors that I realised how lopsided I was. Suppose I hadnt really looked at them much before, and in a mirror it wasnt very obvious, but in my photo it really was. I asked the surgeon (after reading about bottoming out on this site) if that is what had happened, and he said possibly but he would correct it. My new ones are still strapped up with sticky tape etc at the moment, so not sure how they will look when it all comes off, but hopefully it has been put right. Im not sure how to send photos, but if you want to see my before ones to see if it is similar to what you have, i will give it a go. Dont give up if you are not happy - you just have to make a nusience of yourself!

thanks daisy! xxx
I will be happy to look at yours x
I have seen with one surgeon independly( free consultation), and he didnt really want to say much as I didnt say with who I had operation, and maybe he just was carefull with judging.
He just only strongly adviced me to get back to my surgeon and push him to have correction for free rather then pay again( I didnt also mention that I had this on NHS).
We will see.
Tomorrow I have got another app with Transform but I dont know if it makes any sens for me to go, if they all will say the same..
