Pre-BA
Hello everyone!
I'm new to this so please bare with me! I'm planning on having implants later on this year, and I just wondered if anybody had any advice or could explain what it's like? I'd appreciate any opinions!
Thank you :-)

Re: Pre-BA
Hi
My best advice would be don't rush things, do your research to make sure you choose the best sugeon for you. Aftercare is very important too.
Have a look on here if you haven't already:

When you're done reading the above, perhaps you'd like to read these too:

Re: Pre-BA
Roxanne has given you good advice sweetness.
Add to that even more Research! Research! Research! it's so important babe.
Locate different clinics/surgeons in your area, if calling a clinic request a list of the surgeons working in your area, then you can go through each one online checking them out on the GMC register as well as the BAAPS register. In addition to this always seek reviews from previous patients too and get as much feedback as you can. Our surgeons and clinics section of the forum is a good place to ask about surgeons you may want to know about.
Try and choose at least 2 surgeons to have a consultation with, just so you have two surgery plans to digest and compare and NEVER be tempted by any offers that are laid out for you. A BA should never be about saving yourself a few quid, your body is worth so much more! and anyways the offers are all rubbish anyway, the deal is ALWAYS on in the places offering them.
Once you've had your consultations we're here to help guide you through things should you need us before jumping into any decision making and lots of luck on your boobie journey babe - You'll NEVER look back! xxx

Re: Pre-BA
Thank you both! Very encouraging words :-) I've been looking into having it done for a couple of years now, but it's all suddenly becoming very real. So exciting! xx

Re: Pre-BA
I just noticed on your profile Tractor girl that you're only 17, so I'm presuming your wait is due to you having to wait till your 18?
Just a little story for you to consider also....
My daughter like you wanted a BA, she was only 18 at the time and went to see a well respected surgeon, he told her that her body still had the possibility of change and she should consider waiting.... She took the advice on board with plans to go ahead the year later and what a difference a year made for 'her' her breasts did fill out more, she hasn't got big boobs but she's got fuller boobs that she's happy with, it's the look she was hoping to achieve from a BA as she never wanted big boobs anyway. She's very slim so her boobs now look in proportion to her body frame and she has a nice cleavage that she never had before, so the surgeon was spot on in his advice for my daughter. She's very happy and confident about her body now.
I'm not telling you this to put you off in any way whatsoever, I just thought the story might give you something you might like to take into consideration along with your other research

Re: Pre-BA
Yeah I am, but mine haven't grown at all since I was 13 so I'm going to see my GP soon to see what she says. I have two surgeons lined up who have said they will do a consultation before my birthday, but obviously can't perform any surgery until I'm 18. I don't want incredibly big boobs (!) but I'm barely an A cup, and I'm over 6ft tall with a big frame, so I feel completely out of proportion. I have really padded bras that make something out of nothing, but it's more a confidence thing than anything!
I appreciate all your feedback :-)

Re: Pre-BA
No problem sweetness and it's always best to take all you can in before making a decision. My daughter like yourself barely grew at all, she had barely nothing there and referred to her own body as 'boyish' and in that year, her hips and breasts did indeed fill out.
It's good your GP is involved in your surgery and I presume you've done all your homework on your chosen surgeons, so just take everything in babe, that's all I'm saying. Make no decision on the day, no matter how excited you might feel hun, always take the info home and digest it. Talk to us and we'll help in any way we can with the info you have and only when you're 100% sure, then make the decision sweetie.
We'll be here for you if you need us OK xx
