She has suffered agonising pain at times since the implants were put in but said it is still 'awesome' to have been the first

Half a decade after becoming the guinea pig in revolutionary cosmetic
surgery, Texan great-grandmother Timmie Jean Lindsey has revealed all
about the breast enlargement surgery that changed her life.

Timmie Jean, now aged 80, went under the knife in spring 1962 as the first
woman to receive silicone implants which took her from a B to a C cup,
and she didn’t even have to pay for it.
