pre op check up Empty pre op check up

I feel im one step nearer today ladies i've been for my pre-op whooop whoop.
All went well blood pressure, weight,swabbed, then it came for her to take my blood, i did tell her that i have very bouncy veins, bless her she got all of a do as first attempt proved unsuccessful she said 'i'm going to ask the doctor to do it' so then the doctor tried, she did it dance .
My BA isn't till the 10th of May but the really nice nurse said she was going to put me on a cancellation list, so fingers crossed ladies, i'd like it earlier as im going on holiday in July so would like longer for the boobies to settle, thought i'd just share my day xxx Di

Fingers crossed for a cancellation then!! That would be great for you!! There are a lot of ops between now and then...I bet it happens sooner!! Xxx

I dont think i am having a pre-op, or if i am they havent let me know! Is it something thats individual to each clinic/surgeon? I am going with mybreast xx

Hi Ann when is your op? im sure they will have you in for a check up, to see your fit enough for the GA, and our hospital swab from MRSA, if your having your BA soon i would ring them and see what their hospital policy is maybe? good luck hun wavey xx Di

I havent had one of those either, the only thing that they have done is called me and asked me a few questions and asked me to let them know what my blood pressure is....??

Hi ,i went with Mybreast and just had a phone call pre op and a heart test a week before the op !xxx

hi my operation is 13th April, bit scared its a friday! ok i am a little superstitious lol.
I will give them a ring then as its made me a little worried since a lot of you seem to be having them. i am wondering if its because i live in yorkshire and having the op in london they may think its too far to go down for that??
sparkyleeds- since you had a pre-op call and then a heart test with mybreast it would make me think that i should be getting one too as i am with them. anyhow i will check and see what they say, thanks girls xx
