right breast feels like a ball moving around
Hey ladies,
I'm a newbie here, but wonder if you have any advice for me. I'm 11 months post op with silicone under the muscle. The left side has dropped and feels great, but the right side still sits a tad bit higher and when I massage it it feels like a ball moving around inside!
I asked my PS about it and he said the implant was fine but that I just had a little more scare tissue around the right side and he didn't seem concerned. He said to continue my massages fairly aggressively on the right side to help soften the tissue. Anyone else have this issue or any suggestions for me?? I would greatly appreciate it as I'm starting to worry. Not wanting another surgery.

Awww don't worry babe
It is possible that one breast is healing much quicker than the other and the massage suggestion does sound right to hopefully correct the problem.
I would say that if you're still experiecing this at your one year assessment appointment that you should ensure this is well documented in YOUR words, ensure that what you say is written dow as this is what will be referred back to should you require revision in the future, so if it's not there, it easy to say you've never complained, I even go so far as to request the surgeon to relate back to me what they wrote in the notes, this just covers your back.
Keep up with the massage babe, you know you can even lie on your tummy and roll on them to vigourously massage them at 11 months you'll have no probs doing that and hopefully the tissue will break down, if not, do be sure to return to your surgeon as the symptoms could link to Capsular contracture. If it is capsular contracture, and you have anafter-care policy your surgeon will simply replace the implant for you sweetness.
We're here should you need us babe. xxx

Thanks Cookie! Your support and advice has eased a little of my worry! I have tried laying on my stomach and boy does it feel weird! :-) Hopefully it will help. I go back for my one year assessment in a few weeks so we will see what the ps has to say. Fingers crossed.

Really hoping it will help too lovely and don't forget, if it doesn't, ENSURE all your concerns are noted. It's so important should you need a re-op lovely. Hopefully that's not the case though. xxx
