Hi hlt67, I'm in a lot of pain, down both outside sides of each boob, especially the left boob it's like a bad cramp, the slightest movement and it takes the breath from me! I'm going to ask for stronger tablets, I can't take any more!
My back is also sore because of the way I'm sitting, I've got a hot water bottle on my back just now which is helping, I really hope I can get into a comfy enough position to be able to sleep tonight!
Surely it must get better???!!! I was texting on my phone earlier and it slipped out my hand and hit my boob! Ouch!!! Didn't realise how heavy an iPhone was!
I wouldn't let my woos put you off, I'd just make sure to ask for good strong painkillers before you leave the hospital. Wish I'd done that! It's easy for me now to think what I should have done, but I'm sure I'll get better, trying to stay positive! It upset me a little tonight when my sister made a comment when I told her I was in pain all she said was ah well it's self inflicted! I told her that Its the same pain regardless! Also I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to go back to work next Tuesday if it keeps up, might need to get signed off work for a week extra, I'll wait n see.

Oh barbiegirl I know how you feel! The zingers are horribly painful and exhausting. I went to my GP on day 7 I think and got strong strong painkillers which really helped but I should have done it earlier - no point in trying to be a hero! And you didn't self-inflict pain as that would be plain weird and is called masochism . You elected to have an operation and are in pain because of it - BIG difference and easy to spot for anyone with a little compassion!!!! I wondered if my GP would judge me negatively when I showed up hunched and pale - but she was ace. Yours will be too = hobble to the surgery asap hun and sleep as much as you can!!!

I'm sorry to hear you're still in pain. I know with certain people I won't moan about my aches and pains for the same reason. When you're all healed your sister will be jealous of your new boobs. I've had to bite my tongue today to stop me from telling everyone at work what I'm having done lol. Not good to let a bunch of lorry drivers know I'm having my boobs done, although I think they will notice.

Must buy myself a hot water bottle lol.
