Hey Salmac!!!! We are most def BA buddies!!! I am booked for 12th March through Mybreast!!!!! Who is your surgeon??? I am with Stephen Hamilton? I am currently an empty 34a or 32b and am having 320cc anatomIcal unders... Have been advised to get 34d and 34dd bras as well as a Macom. You are prob best to ring up your pcc and ask them what they or the surgeon recommends?? How funny if you are with Stephen too!!! We will be in hospital together!!!! Tee hee!!! Nepoly xxx

Hey hun as Nepoly says just give them a ring and see. i wasn't advised what bra to get, just told me to get a 34E in a high impact 4 and above sports bra. So doing my own research got a few sizes cheap from asda and a 34E Z bra (specialist post surgery bra). They did show me the royce silver post surgery bra at my consultation but i opted not to get it. A previous post by one of our mods completely recommended the tesco sports bras for support and comfort and price.

Hi Salmac and welcome!
I'm going with Mybreast too, my ps is Simon Withey! Who's your ps, and where are you having it done? I'm the last one in March to get my op, so I'll be following what all you ladies are up to first! I'm getting a Macom bra to begin. Call you pcc and ps to find out what they recommend xxx

I sleep in a MaCom - if you are a 32 then you will need a small.
I lived in a classic shock absorber N102 I think was the model number which I got from eBay for about £6.

Hi congratulations on your surgery date, wont be long now.
I bought sports bras from both asda and tesco and while the cups fitted perfect and the bands the straps even at the tightest were too long for me. I then discovered primark bras only £4 and ive got too say they are the best fit and the comfiest. x

Hi Salmac, welcome to the forum!! I'm also a March buddy You have the same measurements as me and I will have 285cc. As Aurora said, your Macom size is small (you should only look at the band size because the cups are expandable). Good luck!!!

Napoly, tried to PM you but as I'm new I can't anyway my surgeon is James McD I specified I want a natural look so 290cc anatomical were recommended. I need to see some pics of both sizes for round & anatomical as im starting to doubt my decidion! Searching the web now!

Re: March 12th for me! Post surgery bra advice
Hi Salmac x why are you doubting your decision? My very first priority was to look as natural as possible.....so I am having anatomicals, 320cc.I'm 5'9 and weight just over 10 stone, I think this size will be perfect on me and not to obvious to those who don't know I am having it done. There is a website that shows lots of anatomicals - search for anatomical on this site in the search box x So, tell me, why are you doubting yourself? xxx

I'm just being stupid! Over analysing and researching too much. I'm going to stop worrying and trust my surgeon. Just a wobbly day for me, I guess as a week Monday i will have boobs so I'm just getting a bit nervous!

Re: March 12th for me! Post surgery bra advice
Hi Salmac, just read on here that your surgery is on 12th March (sorry for asking you on the March buddies thread). My surgery is 4 days after yours so we'll be recovering together :o) Did you decide on the post-surgery bra yet? I bought mine from here at a very good price [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (of course Macom is more serious than these). What are you worrying about? 290cc is not a big implant and I'm sure it's going to look natural. We have similar stats and I'm getting a similar implant so we must be on the right track

Re: March 12th for me! Post surgery bra advice
Ooh thanks for the bra tip. I need to contact my surgeon to ask what size. I worry about everything! I'm not worried about the size though, more the shape! actually I'm thinking maybe I should ask about 320s!! I've also been recommended med profile as my chest height is small.

Re: March 12th for me! Post surgery bra advice
Mine too!!! One of the surgeons told me that I have the chest of a teenager because the height (between nipple and neck bone) was something around 11cm if I remember well. And this is really confusing because, as far as I know, high profiles have a smaller base. Anyways, he's the expert so I leave everything in his precious hands.
