Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
Hi Ladies I have just been for my 2nd consult. I am 5ft tall (34c/d now originally a 36A) and have old 240cc implants at the moment (20years old !) . Anyway my surgeon seems certain I should go for 330cc HP Nagor Impeos for my redo . I have told him I do still very much want a natural look and have been happy with my 240cc size wise. He tells me that it is best to go for a slightly bigger size when having implants replaced and that he uses the HP on women who still want a natural look (he uses the moderates more on women who have lost volume due to childbirth etc).
I have my op booked for the start of April but am terrified that these will look huge and/or missile like compared to what I have been used to ?? Does anyone out there have any opinions on this or have any regrets getting Hp's.
Thank you x

Hi steph thank you and Im so so happy you are pleased with yours I am having overs again as this is a re do and he thinks it best to use the same pocket (hopefully this will also minimise pain too which would be a bonus).
I deffo dont want boy pecs nor do I want torpedos just a nice average size would be brilliant so i hope I,m as happy as you afterwards.
My PS does seem convinced this size and profile are right for me but as I've said to other ladies I do trust him but i really value the opinions of other ladies that have gone through this Thank you ! xxx

Re: Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
Im sure your ps will do exactly what is right for your, I was very worried as I didnt want fake looking boobs, i have only told 4 people about my op so the last thing I wanted was porn star boobs!!!
When are you planning on having your reop?
A word of warning, which im sure your aware of this being your second op. They will look like torpedoes to begin with.... Mine were hilarious!!! But this site stoped me having a meltdown because I knew they would settle.
Apparently re-ops are sometimes less painful too which is an added bonus!! Im sure 330HP's will look great on you

Thanks Steph
I am having it done 6 april. and no , I wasn't told they would look like torpodos to start with ! Ahhh !!! But thanks for that warning or I think I may have been jumping out the hospital window after that ! How long do you think before they start to look "normal" ? as I too have only told one or two folk (didnt tell my mother first time round and deffo wount be telling her this time !) hate to have to lie but its got to be done I'm aftaid !! plus dont want people at work noticing a great difference - i'm hoping going from 240cc now to the 330cc HP's again wont be a HUGE difference if I watch what I wear bra wise and clothes wise. Thanks again XX

Re: Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
Hi Madrigle66
I had 350, high profile overs. I had lost lot of volume due to age, 3 children leaving me with very saggy 32bs. I did not want the fake look either. I too am 5ft 2ins and size 8 so was a bit concerned about having 350 hps, but my surgeon assured me it would give me the best lift (I was borderline lift, but didn't want the whole nipple removal thing).
When I immediately got them done they were like Madonna Cones, but after a lot of bruising, one dropping before the other lol and a million other worries I went through, now at 9 weeks they are amazing very natural, perfect size and great lift.
Beleive me I went through every worry about them but the girls on here reassured me and I trusted my surgeon and they were all right.
I have a picture trail if you would like to see it, it goes through every change, just let me know hun.
Hope this helps xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
Mine are Allergian, ir however its spelt! i dont think theres any noticable difference between the brands, I think they might just make different sizes, eg. one will make 325cc other 330cc etc. I dont think theres much size difference between yours and the new ones, probably once cup size which measures a lot more than it looks. Misf1 is really good with sizing. If i seen ant topics i'll forward them on to you.
I think since your having overs they will be less-torpedo-like quicker, however im sure mine only too 12ish days to relax!?! HOWEVER... some say it can take up to 6months. This seems fairly rare though. if your search 'drop' or 'dropping' then you'll get much more information.
I'll pm you my picturetrail details too so you can compare, my implants are bigger and bare in mind my pre op size was 34c so this makes a difference also. I'm only 5foot 3.5" and a size 8 and I feel their in proportion

Thanks for that Sparky ! great to know...yours are a bit bigger than mine will be but I imagine, as yours are unders we may end up about the same size in the end ? Glad they look natural and you are both happy with the results. Take care and Happy Anniversary when it comes around !! xxx

Re: Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
Hi hun, I'm sure with the increase in size of implant cc the width should match what you have now, so that shouldn't be any different, and you should notice that they are a bit fuller projection wise, so you may go up a cup size. I dont think you will have torpedos though.

Re: Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
I might be getting the Nagor Impleo overs moderate in 240cc. It measures width 11cm, projection 2.9cm. 330cc high profile measures width 11.2, projection 4.9. So the width is the same, but the projection is two more cms. Please be aware that you will have more upper pole fullnes, and you will look fuller. You are having overs too, so there is no muscle pushing down on the upper pole like unders. This isn't a good or bad thing, it's a preference thing I'd say.
I think what your ps is trying to say is that with time skin stretches, and you have more space for bigger implants to fill out the stretch that took place with time. If this is the case, and you place a small implant it might be a bit lose. A way around this is to go for the small implant, but have tightening through a lift, but this involves scarring and is more expensive. You don't always need the vertical scars, depends on the person, I'm getting the vertical lift, because this is the only way to get the results I want specific to me. Often just a nipple lift suffices. To get away from all this, often a larger implant is placed instead. There are pros and cons to both.
Has your ps seen any pictures of what you'd like and wouldn't like? I know you already had a ba, so may not have felt this was essential. But last time I saw my ps I took both like and dislike photos, and this confirmed that mods were best for me. Until I showed him it was all a bit of guessing, because we all perceive these things differenctly, and photos take this doubt away.
I know your surgery is soon, but I was also curious if you'd had other opinions as well.
Sorry, I really don't mean to throw doubt on this, but you did ask, and I though it might be important considering all factors and options. xxx

Re: Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
Thanks for that Roxanne. I think now after reading everones comments that I should be happy with results even though I may be a little larger I dont think it should be dramatic.
I haven't seen other surgeons as the one I have seems very well qualified (Mr Shoaib Glasgow/LaBelleForme), the price is very good and he has a very good reputation. I also didn't want to have to keep paying £100 - £120 a time for other consultations after seeing him for the above reasons - I did make a Transform appointment but cancelled after reading not so good things about the surgeon I was booked in with then have been plagued with sales calls every since (which I,m not keen on as I dont like getting the big sales pitch) so although their consult was apparently "free" I think if I'd gone and not gone with them I may have hassled even more
I did bring in some pictures for 2 nd consult but I feel this consult was a tad rushed as I think he was in no doubt what I should get and I have stressed that i stil want a natural look and not a great size difference and he assures me this is the correct implant for me. he says he uses the moderates more for women who have lost volume, the HP's for women like me who still want a natural effect and the extra highs for a more augmented look. Plus I also dont want an even more complicated surgery involving lifts etc unless completely necessary.
In the future if I have to have another re-do I think I will have them taken out for good and then I will have to have more nipping and tucking for sure but till then I think I'll just go with this original plan. Thanks again though for your imput ! XX

Re: Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
No problem. I just mentioned this because I think it's worth considering as much as possible before committing to anything.
I'm sure you've seen some of the girls with hp pics on here, and they look great! They will not look huge or missile like at all. So long as you know what to expect it's fine. You might prefer the fuller look anyhow, a lot of women do. I know the extra scars and cost of tightening put a lot of people off, and a bigger implant is a very popular option instead. But 330cc isn't really big anyhow when you take all sizes into account.
I've heard of your ps, and he seems very well qualified, so I can understand why you chose him. I know what you mean about going to a pushy company, that would really put me off. There's no such thing as free, is there! I chose Mybreast, but as far as companies go, they are not pushy at all. I don't think I would have put up with that for very long.
You're only a week after me! Not too long now! xxx

Thanks again Roxanne. I am like you and try to find out as much as I can about everything possible regarding the surgery but now i have got to the stage where I am getting myself in a bit of a tizzy as it were and most probably over nothing so now I have decided to just go with the flow or else i fear I'll be going round and round in circles unable to make my mind up and no doubt if I wasnt worrying if they were too big I would worry they would be too small (LOL) ! Wishing you all the best for your big day Roxanne and no doubt we'll be speaking to each other again soon . Take care XXX

Hi Dizzy , yes I totally agree... I am so glad I found this little community
The girls on here are so lovely , supportive and helpful and full of first hand advice and experience which is invaluable !
To view pictures (and I may be wrong so someone please correct me if I am ) I think if someone agrees to let you see their photos (newbies arent really meant to ask I think ? but I have and kind members have let me see their photos plus I'm not exactly sure how many posts you need to have to stop being a newbie ?) anyway if a member agrees (you ask by sending her a PM and she will then hopefully PM you back with her username and password then you go to www picturetrail.com and enter the username and passwords given and hopefully voila ! you can see the photos. It really helps to see some results from girls who have been a similar size to you with the implant size you are looking for
What are you thinking size wise/profile wise etc at the moment ??
Speak with you again soon xx x

Re: Anyone not happy with their HP's ??
I'm about the same size as you, 32c/34b, and am aiming for the same size. I getting either 240 or 210cc, I'll let ps decide during the op which looks and fits best. I tried the 210cc at one of my consults, and it fit very snuggly in a 32d sports bra, it looked perfect for me. There's not much difference between the 210 and 240, and you lose a little when they're inside you apparently. So from the looks of it, I'll be a full 32d/34c, small 32dd/34d depending on the bra. There's no guarantee on what size you'll measure, you won't know for sure until after your op.
Do you want to look or measure a large c small d? I'm asking because implants tend to look smaller than they measure. A lot of women get larger implants order to look a cup size smaller than they measure.
If you haven't done so already, take pictures boobs you like, and ones you dislike. That will give ps a better idea of what kind of results you'd like. Let us know how it all goes. xxx
