Pain in armpit??
Hi everyone
I am six weeks post op right now and for the last two days have been getting pain in my left boob outer side up towards arm pit. It feels like a muscle pain because when I lift my arm, thats when it hurts, not hugely, just uncomfortable, stabbing pains. I am worrying (my latest worry this week)LOL about capsular contraction, my boobs feel soft enough and I am massaging, even though they get harder at night? Could this be where I have been overdoing it? lifting things etc, has anyone else had similar, its only when I move my arm upwards?

Hiya Hun
Im nearly six weeks post op and get a pain when i lift my left arm, similar to what you said like stabbing pains, i dont think its anything to worry about probably jsut part of the healing process,
I also have days of my boobs feeling really soft then the next day them seem a little harder, not sure why though. Its still early days for us really hun so i wouldnt worry to much but if your really concerned then i would go and see your ps.
Also remember that if you get Capsular Contracture most of the time your in a lot of pain with it so i think you would know if you had it.

Soo sorry to hear you are worried!! I imagine as CB says and yourself just normal healing and you having to lift your child.!!!
I think we tend to forget all the healing that has to go on inside i.e. muscles and nerves having to settle. Then we are having to move our arms etc. whch often aches.
I think it is all normal, however no harm done ringing P.S. to ease your worries. xx

Re: Pain in armpit??
I'm sure its fine hun, it could be just your nerves healing, at 6 weeks they arent healed yet and will be soft and hard at different times of the day x
