Pre-Op
I've got my pre-op this afternoon. I thought I would have it nearer to the time of the op as it's not until 29 March.
A little worried about my bp. But there again if it is up I've got time to get back to the docs and increase my bp meds in time for the op.
I'll be trying the implants this afternoon too as I didn't have time at my last appointment.
Should I take a water sample with me? or anything else I need to be prepared for? xx

Re: Pre-Op
They'll ask you to do a urine sample when you get there anyway so no need to do one prior really!
I don't even suffer with high blood pressure but mine was up at my pre op!
Not sure if you've been asked to but I was asked to bring along any meds I was taking!

Re: Pre-Op
I've been to my pre-op this afternoon.
No urine sample needed. BP up to start with then came down to normal which was good news. I expected to have swabs for MRSA but didn't have to do one.
I've just recovered from having a chest infection and had to take a one week course of antibiotics and steroids. I've now been told that I have to wait 6 weeks after finishing antibiotics to have the op which is fine as my op isn't until 29 March, then was told it could be 3 months after finishing the steroids (which was yesterday), GUTTED!!! My pcc is double checking this with the anaesthetist. Hopefully I will hear from her tomorrow.
Has anyone heard of this causing such a delay?
I also tried implants for sizing, I like the look of 520cc in my bra but will speak to Mr Hassan on the day as I think as he's the expert let him make the final decision xx
