Pictures - up to 3 weeks PO
I've updated my picturetrail to 3 weeks post op. Still look like a couple of footballs strapped to my chest but are slowly starting to come together now the swelling at my breastbone has gone down. Scars are less raised but itchy as hell . If anyone fancies a peek let me know and I'll PM the info.

Re: Pictures - up to 3 weeks PO
Looking good Mozelle! Theyre lovely and the fit your frame nicely!
Im doing fine, im beginning to forget that they are fake now. Im growing out of bras and though in 34 E and started in a 36D. They have dropped a lot although right is still a little firmer. My scars look very similar to yours. The surgeon said I don't need to wear surgical tape if it makes me itch but I read somewhere once stitches disolve the scar a bit can stretch leaving you with a bigger marks so a bit so still putting a bit on in the daytime even thought it leaves me with red patches.
Are you pleased with our new additions ? Xxx

I am thanks. Still a bit stunned that I had them done in the first place!
Glad to hear that yours are coming along well. I didn't know that about the scars. Maybe I'll use steristrips at work, don't want them getting any bigger x

It may just be my paranoia MozElle.
I know what you mean about hardly believing you've done it. Living with little boobs for so long it's hard to believe its all real :) x

Hiya Sue.
You'll have to post a little more on the forum to get your status up to active. Sorry hun.
You had your op 7 days ago - how're you feeling? What were your thoughts about Beaucare and getting it done in Belgium?

Re: Pictures - up to 3 weeks PO
Mozelle you look fantastic, you must be so happy , its amazing how you feel so much more confident from the very first day isnt it?
Im impressed that you are in the Debenhams bras so soon, Im going bra shopping next week, i intend to go in every shop I can find in Liverpool city centre that does bra fittings, to make up for all those years I was far too embarassed to even think of such a thing!
I havent had any steri strips or dressings of any kind since two weeks after my op, and my scars seems to be healing really well, they've given me no trouble at all. Im just waiting now to go back for my check up with Mr Martin, but because hes so busy I have to wait till 8 weeks post op instead of 6. Thats fine though as I've had no problems at all, touch wood! xx

Hi MozElle could I take a look please hun? There looking great in your avi :) x x
Re: Pictures - up to 3 weeks PO
Well I'm upright in bed with nothing else to do so my status should be active soon
Beaucare was great. I wish I'd had someone to help me with my bag on and off the plane as I'm sure I did some damage but that wasn't the clinic's fault of course.
They were professional and considerate in all their dealings with me and have continued to insist that I keep them abreast ( ) of all my developments as time goes by. They have quickly answered all my questions (and I have had a lot) and will sort out post-op problems for free (if I can get back there of course). The dreaded CC is guaranteed against for 5 years. Return flight from Manchester was just less than £140, local hotel was 58 euros a night and the op was £2,200 including anaesthesia, surgical bra and pain killers.
Of course the results are the most important part and so far so good I hope. The upper parts of my breasts are still swollen so my side profile looks a bit like snoopy's nose - I'm hoping that 5 weeks from now should see a significant improvement! But on the whole, bruising gone, hardly any wound pain and the twins are generally looking wholesome
Glad that you must be feeling and looking great if you're posting pix so I look forward to being able to compare soon!

Re: Pictures - up to 3 weeks PO
Hiya Gillmoo and thank you. I'm not in the Debs bras just yet. I live in the middle of nowhere so when I went into town I got a bit excited and ran around picking up every DD bra I could find just to see what they looked like, like a kid in a sweet shop! Can't wait to get measured too!!! Glad that you're healings going well.
Chloerose - I've PM'd you hun
Sue - Glad to hear that everything has gone well. Do you have your post op checks at their Manchester clinic?
Hi Ambdy & Barbiegirl. You'll need to post a bit more to move your status up to active. Just have a look on some of the posts and ask questions. When your status has changed I'll happily share pics (its just so us girls on here get to know you a bit).

Re: Pictures - up to 3 weeks PO
Mozelle
Actually I don't have any post op checks. None were offered, just advice about getting stitches removed (they offered to put me in touch with a doctor they know who would do it for a charge). They are happy to sort any problems out and are available 27/7 at the end of the phone, but I guess we're both hoping there won't be any major issues which require me to go back!
For the record, my GP was more than happy to remove my stitches (next week) see me when I was worried about pain, prescribe extra pain relief and some just-in-case antibiotics. The clnic surgeon had told me to go to see my GP and then report back in case they needed to perform any follow-up treatment. I had been worried that as I'd elected for private surgery outside the UK somehow this would disqualify me from follow-up care here. Good old NHS proved how brilliant it can be when staffed by decent people.
Looking forward to having these stitches out and getting this bra off!!!!!
