Dropping at 12 days?
Is it possible my lefty is starting to drop at 12 days? I think it is but I might just be imaging it... I thought it'd take a lot longer and righty is still standing strong! Left is a bit softer and it seems like the upper fullness has gone a bit!
Have taken pics will be on picturetrail in 5ish mins

Re: Dropping at 12 days?
Hi Hun, I'm certain mine started to drop quite early on too. I had to wear a strap for the first 6 weeks and started to notice them start to drop about one week Post op and then they continued to drop gradually into the pocket. It's all a bit of a gradual process, one seemed to drop then the other one would drop a bit. I can now say that at 14 weeks post op they are starting to even out! xxx

Re: Dropping at 12 days?
Ahhh... I thought i'd wake up one day and they'd had dropped so it must eb too early but I think my lefty is in the very early stages a sit seems slightly less full at the top where as they were the same before! Yey!!!
Hopefully its just normal chloe, my right is more trouble, if I stretch too far or do something it doesnt like my nipple tells me off... feels like someones chopping it off

Re: Dropping at 12 days?
it could very well be dropping, or it could be the swelling going down. We do all heal at different rates, some take weeks others take months. It will also depend on how strong your muscle is and whether you had no boobs to start or if you had skin to fill.
Re: Dropping at 12 days?
Thanks Misf, I had a bit of skin to fill but not a huge amount, i'm SURE it looks a bit less full at the top, bf disagrees but we'll see

I'm sure I started to drop after a couple of weeks. Now I'm noticing them softening but still have numbness x

Re: Dropping at 12 days?
I think mine are changing but my OH doesn't and the pics doesn't seem to look any different.
Chloerose, my right armpit was sore about the same time that the whole of the right side of my right boob went numb. I woke up one morning with random pains shooting down my arm and getting pins and needles in my hand, all very odd but I assume it is just the nerves repairing as it seems to have settled down now.

Re: Dropping at 12 days?
Aurora, I think they probably are, I think you will notice the most more then anyone else...I am offically 14days today and I think mine have dropped a little but 100% have softened up. For the first time I properly slept on my right side....Ive been edging on to it over the past 5/6 days but last night I could sleep on it comfortably :). I don't really have any pain but also becuase of the snow I still haven't been able to get my dressings off so Ive rearranged my appointment for Thursday - cant wait to see what there looking like :).
Unfrotunately though girls my sore armpit has got a bit more serious...dont know if you have seen any other of my posts on my lymph nodes but since my last update on them - I have now 3 lumps in my left and 2 lumps in my right - f*****g suckkkkkkkssss :(. Ohhhh well - all a waiting game isnt it x x x x

Re: Dropping at 12 days?
Mine are definitely softer and my OH reckons they are dropping now too - also the incisions used to be on the underside of my boobs and now they are exactly in the creases so you can hardly see them - hooray!
