Hello ladies

So my ba was just Monday past and even though yes I am still in a lot of pain, I could do with some fresh air. Do you think I would be ok to walk my daughter round to nursery in morning or should I wait??

I guess it depends on how you feel. Maybe see if someone could go along with you and your daughter, just incase you feel a bit tired or sore. I walked the dog for about 1 1/2 hours up some pretty steep hills 3 days after my op but it completely wiped me out for the rest of the day so I wouldn't recommend doing too much, particularly if you're still in pain.

think you'll be fine and fresh air is soooo good.

nikita mentioned dont push the pram already ... but another thought also when youre walking your toddler is holding hands - if she pulls you hard unexpectedly - ooh it hurts. I know you'll still want to hold her but if you are prepared for it and she does drag you to see .... oh I dont know ... if anything like my kids ... the exciting worm on the floor Would I be ok? 557141 just be a little prepared. xxx

I was also told to stay mobile and not just rest. Slow short walks after are meant to be good for you after a few days of rest. Helps with the circulation a lot...I also find when I move my arms a little bit through out the day, although I am still very stiff it feels so much better after a little while and it eases me up a bit x x x x

Agree with the girls hun, walking is GREAT, but defo have someone with you cos you don't want to have to reach down, or pull up on your daughter's hand, or push anything!

I think I healed even faster cos I was walking from day 3 on :)

Hi Hun, I found walking about made me feel so much better. The more I sat still the worse my backache was. As others have said, as long as you don't push a pushchair and it's not too strenuous I am sure it will do you some good xxx
