silimeds.. anyone ??
hi everyone.. misss u allll ... havent posted in a bit.. i am so down... its been 2 and a half months since my surgery.. and my boobs are soooo hard they r like two rocks.. and its killing me.. sometimes i just wanna sit and cry.. ive been dying to do this surgery to have a natural look and feel.. so i made sure i read alot n understand everything.. i cant believe i was stupid enough not to research my type of implants and make sure what he is putting in.. as in my first visit i asked him what do u use he said allegran and mentor only.. so i didnt bother before surgery to ask as they are one of the best.. but when my first visit after surgery came.. he told me he used silimeds and they are as good as mentor and allegran and that he uses those 3 types.. i read about silimeds they seem good.. but they are not getting soft.. i also read that they are one of the hardest implants.. which i didnt want cuz i was so pro soft silicone but he said he only uses textured cuz they are safer.. so my best friend has her surgery done with him and they are so soft now.. and he used mentor with her... even the part in the middle between my breasts is till not flat.. i saw another doctor he says it might not go cuz the implants are very big..
my doctor is one hour away by plane and i cant seem to leave my kids and travel now.. i called him he says mentor and silimeds they dont differ in softness and that i need to wait at least 6 months,,,
im so depressed... anyone can help me and talk to me..
i also wanted my boobs to drop and fluff.. i read silimeds dont... im sooo mad

Sorry I can't help you hun as I don't know anything about this. I am sure they will soften, I have friends who have had BAs, six in total and all at different places. Some recovered, softened quickly, others took ages.
I do hope someone can give you the answers you want, don't be down hun. We are all here to chat anytime. I am only 1 month post op, my righty is squidgy but my lefty like a rock xxxx

absolutley donny if you were told the other two he should have discussed the third with you. More and more I am coming to believe that surgeons are so used to hearing complaints and concerns that they have developed a skill to calm you down before you get started. its a disaster when you are not happy especially the time and expense of repeating visits in particular when kids are involved. I would suggest that perhaps you need to give it more time to see how things go but when you next have to visit your surgeon for a checkup i would write clearly your lists of concerns and discuss them thoroughly before you leave. hopefully that will help xx

Oh huni, I feel for you. Sorry to hear you are so upset. I'm afraid I don't now anything about silimeds so can't comment but I am sure they will soften yet. You still have lots of changes to go through - I've been told it can take 6 months plus for them to drop and soften. I really hope they do sweet, otherwise I would certainly be going back to your surgeon for some answers on why he chose these implants xxx
