Im Home..........

Defo got the booby blues, I think just coz I was expecting bigger, however I am going to b patient and hope for good changes :)

In sooo much pain today, they feel burny, not my incisions, just my boobs all over. Bruised really bad at my right boob which is making it that more uncomfy.....but apart from that they already look different to yesterday and I know I will love them xxx

Sorry to hear you arent feeling too good this morning, keep taking those painkillers and I'm sure you'll be feeling better in a couple of days x

ahh the first few days were the worst for me, i remember being so sore and uncomfy from trying to sleep upright that i ended up sleeping downstairs sitting upright on the couch! i think i was about 2 1/2wks into it when pretty much the worst pains were over including morning boob!

Yes, there was no way I could have hidden it from her. I thought best to tell her beforehand. She's an Irish dancer and goes 3 times a week, which I also go with her, obviously this week I've had to make arrangements for her, I just thought she was best to know. And she has been a little gem! I'm glad I told her x

I havent told my girls (5, 8 and 14) ... i think my 14 year old may suspect sometimes but she hasnt said anything as yet - she compliments me on how I look in dresses and says 'they make your boobs look great mum' etc but I think she's quite young headed compared to some of her school friends and she can sometimes be a bit of a dolly dimple (in the nicest possible way of course ) ... so I will wait and see if she does say something sometime and then tell her.

I havent said anything to my littlest two ... theyve both done that double take - especially at the start but nothing has been said - I put a post up on BJSF really early on after Id had the ba saying how glad I was that they just accepted it and not questioned cos I found it easier for me.

D'you mind telling me how you told her ... what words did you use? Just in case it comes up with mine it would be nice to have words ready ... I sort of know what I would say I think but would be nice to have your suggetions. Thanks. xxx

My 16 year old lad is another story

Awww really!! I found it quite easy to be honest. A big thing for me which affected my children was I never went swimming with them, even on holiday....so swimming was the topic that I used to work my way towards my ba. I just said that I was thinking of getting a ba ( i used boobs) which meant I could do all these things, Niamh's first response was "like Katie price"....lol (not that big darling) so I knew she understood what I meant. She then just asked me questions. She did ask me if she would need one when she was older which I laughed and said I'm sure you won't, especially if you get your boobies from your daddy's side of the family.....and that was that, no doubt she will forget about them in a little while lol xxx

I should have said to you before that I dont want to tell anyone else. I havent told friends or family apart from obviously DF and my mum and dad so telling the kids would be an instant everybody knows maybe?? Even if I asked them to keep it secret. Maybe, maybe not - not sure. I sort of hope it wont come up. But thanks for telling me. xx

Only my close friends and family know aswell. Don't worry when the time comes I am sure you will know what to say xx
