questions!!! Help pleaseeee
1) I've just ran out of arnica!!!! I had my op friday am I ok to stop or should I go buy some more?!?! I've had no bruising but planned on taking it until wed.
2) Why exactly do we have to sleep propped up? I had a nap flat on my back and woke up with pins and needles in my legs, is this related to my boobs? Did they steal my legs blood? Sounds stupid but ah well!
3) Can I take multi vitamins again?
4) Can I consume as much caffeine as I want?
5) When did you have your stitches taken out? I had a dream last night one popped out and my boob started falling out then the nurse called wanting to take them out thurs, so 6 days post op.
I think that is all for now.... thanks in advance!!!

Thank you, will get myself to the chemist! Thought 84 pills was tons but thinking about it its only just over 10 days supply! I'm fine sleeping upright, big of back strain but completely bareable, just curious why were supposed to, I assume its to do with swelling!

1 yes you can stop
2 did you sleep with your legs crossed. Your boobs won't steal their blood. You sleep propped up to reduce swelling and as soon as swelling is gone the morning boob goes.
3 not sure, I would think so
4 drink as much tea and coffee as you want. But drink lots of water to help with healing.
5 I had an appointment booked before my op to have my stitches out after 10 days. Are you sure you don't have disolvable stitches
Healthy eating will help your body heal

Yeah I think its to do with swelling but it was physically impossible for me to sleep flat on my back! They were so heavy to begin with but now doesn't even feel as though I've got implants!(well sum days anyway, I had problems with my righty!)
Take care and rest up xxx

Re: questions!!! Help pleaseeee
Im sure I dont have dissolvable stitches, definitely need an appointment for them to be removed I just thought this was a bit soon? but i suppose if im not ready she'll leave them and i'll go back another day?
Im being all healthy trying to help my bod recover as quickly as possible!
Natty your boobs look great, i've read about your problems, is it all solved now?
I've just put a jumper on and im so happy with how my boobs look (consideration taken for them being new etc)!

Hiya steph
cant answer about the arnica - cos I only found out about it from you lot after my ba.
I was never told to sleep propped up. I did ask my PS why you ladies were told to and you know what he said? ... sleep in whatever way makes you comfortable - you cant damage them and the swelling will still settle. He also said that lack of sleep is likely to make you feel a lot more rubbish that the morning boob which lasts only a couple of seconds. Maybe its cos of the size i had? yours a little bit bigger than mine were but not so much that would make that much difference? If Id had to sleep propped up I would have ended up very creaky and irritable
yes to the multivitamins is what I was told
I LIVE on coffee - its probably not that advisable really and most health professionals would say this too I guess .... whilst slurping their coffee
I had dissolvable stitches so cant help on that one but I was scared about how soon the strips came off (felt too soon) so you can imagine what a mardy I would have been if I had had stitches and been told they comin out at 6 days like you! Am sure you will be fine, they know what they doing. xx

Re: questions!!! Help pleaseeee
Arnica, I am planning to take for 7 days post op.
Sleeping reclined rather than flat I have been told to do for 10-14 days but I will see how I go as it is killing my back. Not sure i have had morning boob although they are tender when I go from reclining to standing so maybe that is morning boob.
Caffine, I wasn't given any instruction but I don't drink much coffee or tea etc anyway.
Multivitamins, I am back on mine.
I have my first post-op check-up on Monday which is apparently when the dressings come off and assuming all is well I can have a shower! I think I have dis-solvable stitches.

Good luck with your appointment huni, i'd probably be the same, no boob greed yet but when my time is due for a re-op i'll definitely go bigger! I also had the biggest that would fit.

Re: questions!!! Help pleaseeee
I'm not sure whether I have morning boob either? Im quite comfortable in the mornings but get a bit stiff/painful and therefore grumpy from 5pm on wards, I think i've been doing too much in the day to be honest. I was told to try being propped up for a week so I intend on trying my best until as much swelling as possible goes
