omg! my Doc want to change them to....

So yesterday I had my consult for my re-op my doctor wants me to go to Mentor 550HP girls I already gave my down payment but need to call them to confirm the date...I couldn't confirm it bcause this was tons of new info that I'm so scared but I have all my paper work n prescriptions Ant girls that have had mod unders and have changed to hp?? Please help me out I don't want to have the fake look...I couldn't sleep just thinking n thinking

Hiya chick .... sort of excited for you but you seem a bit concerned - I guess cos your doc knows that you werent proper satisfied with the size and you wanted to go bigger maybe he also assumed you wanted to look more like you had work done too - and not trying to look natural? lots of ladies prefer that look - its very sexy.

Its bigger than you'd planned too tho the 550 int it? thought you wanted 100 bigger? was that your choice or what he offered you that he thought would be best size? can you get the 550's in an anatomical? maybe that would be the best of both worlds for you? xx

Wow Flower, they will look amazing on you ! Your surgeon obviously thinks you can take that size and to make it noticeable I was told at least an extra 100 cc plus would be needed. I have extra high profile unders and love them..... The projection is fab!

If I were able to I would definitely go bigger! Have you tried on the sizers Hun? Xxx

High profile will give you more projection (your boobs will stick out more) but you will have less width or the same width you have now. The thing with mods is they are quite wide, but when you change to high profile you need a bigger implant to keep the same width. So don't worry your boobs won't stick out at the sides, this would have happened if you had gone bigger in the mod profile. You are having unders so you won't have a full upper pole because the muscle will push it down, that's if they are partial unders. So you won't get a round half a melon on your chest look. High profiles don't always mean a fake look

hey sweet, i have 340 unders, high projection.... if i could, i would go bigger!! Love high projection and my boobs feel soft and natural, not at all stuck on. I have seen jojo's extra high profiles in the flesh, and they are GORGEOUS and very natural. i can't get to see your photos hun, can get into ur account but can't see any photos in it xxx

no not at all, they will be in exactly the same place as every other implant. Just means they have ,ore projection













Hope this explains them a bit more, as you can see in the picture low profiles are very wide but are quite flat so offer very little projection, but the mods offer more projection with a bit less width and the high profile offer more projection again but with less width,

here is a picture of 350cc implants one is high profile the other is mod

The moderate profile implant has a wider base when viewed from the top. The high profile implant has a smaller base. When viewed from the side, the high profile implant is taller (more projection). The moderate profile implant will appear distributed over a larger area on the chest wall, but will project less. There will be a smoother transition between the upper chest wall and the volume of the implant. The high profile implant will have a more noticeable transition between chest wall and implant, and it will project more. Neither implant is “better”. What is critical is educating the patient about how each type of implant affects the “look” she is trying to get.

For example, take a woman with a narrow chest wall. If she thinks she looks too small on top compared to he hips, she may want to consider a moderate profile implant which is wider and will restore some balance with her lower body. If, on the other hand, she wants a large cup size, but not necessarily a wide appearance on her torso, she is better of with a high profile implant.A woman with a wide chest wall will be better off with a moderate profile implant, and if she wants more projection, go for a larger moderate profile implant. The danger of picking high profile implants with their narrower base is that they may look too obviously “artificial”. This is less of a danger if the patient already has sufficient breast tissue thickness to wrap around and disguise the implant.

These guidelines are not absolute, as some patients do like a very pronounced cleavage, in which a high profile implant is more likely to create the desired effect. On the other hand, if a patient just wants to “fill out” the volume lost as a result of age or pregnancies, I’m more likely to recommend moderate profile implants.

misf1-thank u doll!This helps a lot I think that ur right as long as my diameter stays about the same I shouldn't have a problem....projection is not a big deal for me I just want a little fuller look I just don't want my boob greed to take the best of me and end up with some giant boobs bcause then I will have another problem...one size bigger I'm good but not sure about going into GG or HH- nooo my daughter n mom would kill me-plus this time around I'm not telling everyone that I'm gettg a re-op
