Size ????

I kind of know what size I would like to be. I would consider myself to be an empty C, so at first I said I want to be a full C/D. Now I'm thinking DD. I discussed it with my eldest who is almost 20 and has a fab body and boobs to die for. Her reply was 'Mum you're not going any bigger than me!!' lol ... She's now a 32/34 DD and is bursting out of that size now

Hi hlt67 I'm also an empty 34c having my BA and nipple lift tomorrow with 425 overs! Surgeon expects me to be 34e! Will let you know how it goes! Although I think everyone can turn out different even with same stats! Xx

Still stressing?? Me too!!

But i know what size i like the look of and i have my pictures at the ready so i will let the Mr MacDiarmid have a look and then he can tell me what he thinks would look good on my frame..im quite small but like the look of 300cc on others... (im starting with a AA cup tho..aka nothing!!!)

I have pictures ready too. I've not a clue about the cc, I'm an empty C. What size would 300cc make you? xx

I have no idea really..but hoping to go from a 30AA up to a C/D. It seems to vary so much from person to person, 300's can look big on some and not that big on others, think its all down to what you start out with, skin elasticity etc

Just going to have to wait and see what the surgeon says..im not going to mention any sizes and wait for his opinion.. Soo exciting and very very nerve wracking at the same time!!

I know how you're feeling lol. But right now I feel more excited than nervous. The nerves will start when I book lol.

I've spoken to ladies who have had local anaesthetic and have been fine. Hmmm thinking should I go for that or just knock me the hell out lol. I'm not sure if I would cope well with local xx

I think im more frightened of the GA than anything else...and waking up and feeling really sick.. but will def chose this over the local any day!

Suppose its a bit like having a baby..you feel bloody awful but its all worth it in the end!! :o)

The thing is I enjoyed child birth lol. Thinking about it yes GA it is. If I hear them talking about what they're doing I'll probably tell them to stop and let me go home lol xx

Wow enjoyed it!!??? Amazing!

My first was long and drawn out, exhausting (24hours) And my second was so quick i was in total shock! (only in hospital 15 mins!)

The thought of what they are doing is horrible so i would really prefer to be out..then you wake up before you know it :o) xx

Ladies do not forget that fake boobs measure bigger than they lOok- I started off B or empty c, told surgeon I wanted to be around DD, but then once he got to know me more and listened and saw what I wanted he said I need to be measuring an E at least to be happy, and boy was he right!! I'm only 3 weeks po at mo, currently in 38e/f sports bra, and I feel quite small- well not small, in proportion, but there's no doubt in mind that if I was smaller I'd be gutted!!! All along I wanted the mid size of the implants offered- 445, 485, 520,560- settling on the 485 before op although I said I trusted his judgement to give me what I wanted- he done well!!!
See what the surgeons suggest at the consult, and I'd def recommend going for the largest cc offered!!!!

I was in a dilemma over sizes I was offered 525 or 460cc. At the last moment I went for the 525cc and boy am I glad.Im afraid I would have been doubting myself for ever more otherwise xxx

I agree with Peggysue. I didn't go for the biggest size I was offered (470 cc) & I am constantly doubting myself & wondering what if! Grrr bloody boobie greed!!!! Lol xxx

I agree you ladies all look amazing..not sure if i could get away with the sizes you are all having tho!..im sure i'd be happy with anything!! I will prob see what is offered and go mid range :o) xx

Until you see the surgeon it's hard to know- I was completely blind before my first consult. But I do recommend seeing a few surgeons to get different opinions, even if it means you go back to the first ps you see as I did, it makes you confident in your choice and that you're making an informed decision.

Debsrich - im planning to have a consult with THG too later in Jan. I also contacted Spire in Worcester as they have some free mini consults (15-20 mins long) ..but they gave me a ballpark figure of £4800..im thinking that mybreast might be around the same price..and this is a little steap for me Rolling Eyes

im a bit unsure of sizing too, im currently a 32 a/b and im getting 340cc im hoping for a c/d but after reading some of the comments I think I may end up bigger? Im only 4ft 11 and a size 6 so I dont want to end up looking like Dolly Parton!!

Im a size 8 and 30aa..wanting to go to a c/d cup like you, sizes really vary person to person, but i think you might end up bigger than a d with 340cc's, if you are worried discuss it again with your surgeon perhaps? But im sure he has chosen the best thing for you xxx

You should try on the implants in the sports bra, I think it gives a good judgement of what size you would be. I always said I definitely wouldnt want to go bigger than a DD, starting out at a B thought that would be well enough. Now I am measuring a 30F/32E and I dont feel big at all.

Go with what you feel comfortable with and dont go on size :)

I had overs and there is only a slight difference I think of when looking at them in the sports bra to when they are inside you ( a bit smaller)

I think it all comes down to individual choice and I suppose the brand of implant. I had 350s because I wanted to be big but not Jordanesque. The sizes that some of the ladies on here go for are huge, which if I was 20 years younger I would go for. But I think that it does make a difference to your recovery time. The bigger implants seem to get more bruising and pain afterwards.I think being in my forties I need to go with what is going to suit me best and they are still pretty big!x
