wahhhh :( advise please girlies

hey ladies

So I was 12 weeks sunday and was ment to be seein my ps tomorrow to get the underwire go ahead FINALLY!!

I recieved a letter last week saying they'd moved to a new premises so called to see if this was where my consult now was as this was just a letter saying if u want a consult we now have new premises blabla sell sell sell lol. They informed me it was (nice to recieve it in writting).

then the following day I recieved a letter to say my po with my surgeon would be jan 26th wtf??? recieved my other letter saying 21st of december about 6 weeks ago, so once again i called the main reception to be told no i wasn't booked in for dec 21st on the system i'm down for 26th january and should of never recieved the other letter. I had a bit of a moan and explained how i was 12 weeks and was desperate to get the go ahead to start easing myself into underwired bras she said I can turn up but my surgeon won't have my notes (awesome). So now i have to wait till i'll be over 4 months po to see my bloody surgeon.

Anyway its the xmas season and i have a lot of do's and refuse to make anymore expensive bras bin worthy by cutting the wire out!! do u girls think i'll be ok to wear a wired bra now or should i just suck it up cut the wires out and waste more money so annoyed as most people have the pleasure of getting nice underwear by now bras with underwires cut out just don't make clevage the same :(

hmmm how frustrating for you! and very lapse of them. no idea tho sorry- i'm early days- but can the surgeon not at least speak to you on the phone about it? at least then if he says def not then it's worth cutting up the bras..or go for the check up, if its not too far, then you can always go again in january when he does have your notes?

So where do they keep your notes then?!

i'd just go- you know what size implants you had, position, the date etc, he should surely be able to tell from how they feel/look now whether its ok to have underwires? anyway, isnt everything digital- i cant believe they only have a paper copy of your notes, even i'm more techno than that and i'm rubbish! i reckon they just don't want to disturb their organised day. i'm with gucci- go diva go....

i really need him to have my notes thou cause i'm not happy with the size (expected them to be bigger and my right is still hgher then left (only noticeable to me) but i want this written down just incase because everthing can come back on u plus i want info on how long i have to leave it before second op to go bigger as figure sooner i ask about it may get it cheaper so although i want to wear wires i'm not willing to travel back and forward if i can't do it properly in the first place. Not his fault it's transforms you'd think moving premises wouldn't mean moving patients check ups a month on!!

Im sorry to hear of your troubles with getting to see your surgeon especially ther huge mess up.....

With regards to wearing Under Wire most ladies are safe after 10 weeks. I had 300 full unders and my surgeon said i could wear underwire from 10 weeks but to take it easy and not wear continiously to give your boobies a rest.

I got the go ahead at my 6 week check for underwires Nikita did they give you a reason for not giving you the go ahead then? I was surprised as i'd heard of other people saying 3 months so i asked the nurse who told me Mr M says 6 weeks if all settled and said only one of her surgeons said otherwise so i dont understand why it's different at a different clinic.
ps one of mine is slightly higher(again only i notice) but the nurse pointed out to me on my pre op pics(YUCK!!!) that it was slightly higher before.Good luck anyway hun xxx

My nurse saw me last time she says no and makes u wait till u see ps at 12 weeks in Norwich I think I may just be patient waited this long thankfully my new years outfit is braless :) xx

Oh and I have pidgeon chest diagnosed web younger but refused to have op so both ribs are different shape and mr m told me my right was higher before I just think because it's my slightly bigger one I look at it all the time next time I'm getting 700 in one 725 in the other for my own craziness lol

I got.the go ahead 4 weeks post op. Which is the earlist iv heard of. Booked my 6 week early as i was sore for a couple of days near the beginning. He said i could go back to normal again ie no bras at night, can swim again etc assumed etc ment wear wired bras....its like pulling teeth getting mr kuna to string a conversation together. Hes really good at what he does though. Xx

I'm sure you'll look amazing in ur outfit hun and look fab without underwires anyway:))) I'm happy with my boobies but if i could afford to have another op (but i cant :( ) i'd probably go bigger lol Damn boob greed!!!haha , have a great christmas and New Year babe xxx

Oh no what a pain for you hun. Don't they realise that the underwire go ahead is so important to us!!!! lol. I reckon you will be fine to wear an underwire for the odd night over Christmas.

Firstly I'd say you'd been fine to wear underwires now must ps say 6 weeks and at 12 weeks I'd say your more than ready. Even if you just want to pop one on for your parties then go back to mon wired when your at home, it'll only be for a few hours.

Secondly transform here in Manchester did the same to me and tried to change my appointment to the new year it was on the 12 dec I just insisted that I wanted to see my ps on the date that had first been given. They gave me the story if the notes to but as I knew from a past conversation I'd had with my ps notes are kept at the hospital you had your op so really not that difficult for them to get them considering there will surgeons going to the hospital to operate that could just collect them and take them to the clinic. They managed to get my notes and I saw my ps on the original date.

I would insist you saw him you've paid them alot of money. Or get them to make him call u so can discuss wires over the phone. Hope you get sorted xx

I agree with Lauren re wires at 6 weeks.
I asked my pcc when I could where wires and she said 6 weeks post op assuming all is well.

I'm thinking of trying to hold out till the new year of 2013 but if e offers to do them for a good price I'll get them ASAP boob greed is a killer lol x
