Thats partly the reason I wanted them done this time of year. Big baggy jumpers. x

I was totally not expecting them to be perfect BUT they look so small, I'm in an E cup but in clothes they look no better than my old boobs in a padded bra & chicken fillets. I have double bubble, it looks disgusting my PS said it could take up to a year for that to go and I do trust him, well 85%! Before I could disguise the awful shape in padded bras but the shape feels so obvious now. At least I can say they're not as bad as before and in time, while I wait for the shape to change, I'll be able to hide it better in bras a bit better than these bloody sports bras!

I think I'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself, I can't sleep properly at night and can't stay awake in the day! I'm uncomfortable and bloated and want a proper bath because I feel like a minger! I know it's not the end of the world but patience isn't one of my strong points! x x x

GG sorry to hear you're feeling a bit down- I think it's partly the blues from the GA making you feel crap too- day 6 for me (last Friday) was my day for feeling **naughty word**, tired, moany and unhappy- and very snappy. Me and hubby had a HUGE row which resulted in him storming out and telling me it's all my own doing as I wanted op done!!! But as soon as I hit a week post-op I felt so much better- my bf came round for a good chat n gossip and I began feeling human and loving my boobs.
You'll get there. Are you going to do a picturetrail? That might help you feel a bit more confident xx

arrgghhh i wrote a long moany email agreeing with you GG and Debsrich and it wouldn't post - i got a badgateway!! probably a good thing.

to shorten it - i know what you mean about washing and hair washing!! my DH asked if he was washing my hair or giving me an oil change!! then proceeded to wash it really badly as his bad was hurting!

i had a bad days or 2 around 5/6 but we just need to think about how we will look and not how we look now .. unless you want to look at old photos and compare, i am not overley impressed by my new buddies right now but looking at old pics - they are GORGEOUS compared to that!!

The thing is though THOSE boobs are all YOURS hun xx they are not padding and chicken fillets xx THAT's the difference xx so although they look the same they are all you now xx

As for DB I think another girl had it on here and massage really helped hers (when able to of course) xx I'm sure it will be fine over time xx

I'm missing my showers as well :( and probably won't be able to have one until around three weeks PO.....let's see....<counts on fingers> oh that'll ba nice Merry Christmas present to myself haha xx have you had your hair washed? I found that helped loads xx

Drink loads and loads of water to flush out the GA and the pain killers etc and try to get back into your usual sleep pattern x that might help you xx I found that I had a bit of a comedone from the pain killers and GA after all three ops xx This time is was quite soon after and I put that down to them being a bit shy with the morphine xx it really hurt when I came round and I cried but in a way I'm glad now as I obviously didn't have as much as i did the other two times xx .........

Each day you will feel a bit better and in 2 to 4 weeks time you will have forgotten all this xx

In the meantime gentle and take it easy xx

Great advice Kay. Getting your hair washed will def make you feel better!! I'm one of the lucky ones been able to shower everyday, but couldn't manage hair so went to salon to get done and felt great!

thanks debs & PS, it's nice to have a pic up!

i am ok this am, slept badly last night and bit sore and achey today. had my stitches checked last night and all is well, she said they had healed nicely but put more on just to be on the safe side.

my mum has been so lovely, she keeps turning up to drive me and kids to do the school run so i don't have to take them on the bus and taking my little girl home after nursery so i can rest! she was rubbish as a mum when i was a kid and wasnt great with her grandchildren until my daughter came along and now she is the nanny from heaven! i really want to do something to thank her but not sure what!

Hey girls, I feel a bit better today! Went to see the nurse today and got to see Mr Singh again, he's very confident in his work and isn't worried about the shape at all and told me (again!) that it can take longer to settle in to the proper shape, so we just have to wait and see!

On the plus side, I can have a proper shower now which is brilliant, dry shampoo is crap lol!

The dreaded dry shampoo!!!!!!!! my hairs going to go sooo greasy , was debating just wearing a massive hat for a week! lol

Go to a hairdressers for a wash and blow dry- only £10 in a lot of places- and makes you feel sooo much better!! x

The wrapping is the worst part I usually leave it until xmas eve.But not this ear im little miss organised.I think I am growing up now I have my lady boobies in the post

Any last minute advise? I will start my Arnica tomorrow.Apparently all I have to take is some thing to freshen up and my sports bras.I feel I should be packing a big bag,its the same feeling as when I had my babies as I was booked in for c sections.

I am good- back at work, first day- only at my desk this morning then we're off on our Christmas party from lunchtime!! Can't wait- dress to show off the curves!!! And can have a drink! Just needto be careful with the dancing!!
