Hi lovely ladies....

This time in 48hours I'll be at Dolan Park!!!!! They called a little while ago to tell me that I do not need to be there till 11am as I am at the end of the day list (probably last!!) I was kinda expecting this as Mr Hassan did explain that my surgery is very techincal, and involved... he did also say he has no problem in 'working on me' for however long it takes to get the right results as he's a perfectionist- so I guess it makes sense to be at the end of the day so as not to delay all the other ops before me!!!
This is a good time because I don't need to leave home until 8am ish rather than something like 5am!!! BUT on the flip side... I'm nil by mouth from 12am, then water up until 9am.... then chances are won't go down until something like 2pm!!! I'm gonna be starving!!!!!!!! no tea and biscuits!!!!!
NEVER MIND!!!! I think I can sacrifice a few meals to get my newbies!!!!!! I don't think I'll waste away

Anyway... sorry for going on.... just feel so excited now it's nearly time!!!!!

debsrich - omg - 48hrs!! i am so excited for you! are you taking someone with you? whenever i read i get lost in my book and forget baout most other things - you'll need something to keep you occupied so you don't think about food! 48hrs 48hrs 48hrs 48hrs ... xxx

My friend is driving me up on Sunday, and is going to stay with me until after surgery, then she'll head back, then THG are arranging transport to bring me home on Monday.

I am going to take my laptop.. plus I'll be chatting away to my friend!!!

The reason Im having it done so close to xmas is because he has 2 weeks off and we can all work together...we work amazingly well as a team.Infact we do almost everything together (excluding the playstation!) we have the same humour so its always a crack in our house. I cant wait!!!

I have never been so organised all the pressies are wrapped bagged and ready to go. A few more bits for the stockings and its done xxx

That sounds fab peggysue. I'm sure your husband will do a great job! I was going to wait until Easter for my op but Xmas seems a better time than any. My husband is off for a few days then has a couple shifts and back with us for a few more days. My MIL is helping out as well. Should be fine, but they're both useless at cooking, so I've been batch cooking and freezing meals for kids.

Debs I can feel your excitement . I'm going to take some photos of my AA's tonight. Can't wait to compare my newbies with the old worn out ones

I'm meant to be studying and keep finding myself on here or Xmas on line shopping lol

Yes I think I am next..... OMG waited so long to say that!!! My world feels like a bit of a whirlwind now!!!!
I'm so laid back with things all the time... but I think I am sorted, organised and ready for this now!!!!!!!!!

Debsrich, you lucky thing xx excited xx I do feel, excited nervous and apprehensive all at once haha and am still just ignoring it xx not packed anything yet either you are very organised xx

I got a bit panicked earlier as I ate something really garlicky last week and was thinking that I wasn't supposed to have garlic 2 weeks before EEk.....but then I checked and it's actually 48 hours before, phew xx

I'm actually going the day before my op to stay overnight so that I'm there first thing so am fast running out of time xx

The way my journey has gone I need everyone to keep everything crossed for me

I keep on forgetting to take my arnica !! So not that organised!! Going out for a meal tomorrow night... going to find it so hard to not have any garlic !!!

Hi debsrich! Been looking too but not found much! Think he is one of the few surgeons that do it! Think on some sites it's called a Spair mastopexy! You must be so excited now! I know I am and I've still got over 3 weeks to go!

I hope you had a great birthday, you can't be celebrating it with new boobies!

Haha!! Thanks Sharon! Well I'm going out tomorrow night with my friends for a meal (the last supper!! lol) then nil by mouth from midnight... water until 9am... then off to Dolan Park around 8am!!!! Ahhh Can't wait now!!

Just put my yuk pre op pics on picturetrail.... Can't wait to add the newbies on there!!!!

I'm leaving home at 8, admission is 11- I think I'm last of the day- or def towards the end- I thought that would happen as mr h said to me it is a very technical surgery- and he is such a perfectionist and told me it will take as long as it takes- so I guess at the end of the day there's less chance of making other people delayed and hanging around!! x
