Post by welshvicci123 17th November 2011, 9:07 am

So I've heard this is what we need for after the b.a due to bloating and possible constipation, my doctor gave me laxatives the other week for something and i believe they may be senokot i will sound silly but i assume i could use them instead of going out and buying more?

I'm still suffering !! I look about 12 months pregnant :/ may have to get some !! Welshvicci it only took an hour and half to get there from where I am
I'd leave a bit later if tour going straight to the hospital ..... And I waited 6 1/2 hours until I went to theatre !!

I agree with the senokot max ones, someone suggested prune juice on here to me and I love it so thought Id try some. In the evening after my ba I was really thirsty so had a good glug of it. Bad BAAAAD move - the ga made me very sickly and omg its so bad to honk when you're full of prune juice - it went for miles Laxatives? 588945 and I felt such a git watching the nurse clean it up Laxatives? 557141

Would also suggest a hot water bottle for on your tum after too cos the senokot can make you grumbly and rumbly Laxatives? 199385

Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for your big day - not long now - eeeee its exciting!

I'd sent my partner to get prune juice but he came back with fresh orange juice instead so didnt get a chance to try that one, just as well.

Senakot max on day 3, 1 taken at night before bed worked great. Only needed that one and all was ok. Normal Senakot should be ok too. XXX

I waited ages too hun! I had my admission time of 10 am, but when I got there found he'd moved me to the last of the day. Finally went to theatre at 5pm! So it I am certain with a 7am admission time Welshvicci you will be first on the list! xxx

lol, bombs away!!! I was really lucky and didn't suffer from constipation at all! Think I'm a weird freak who has no reaction to GA - I woke up and just started harassing the nurse for food, I was starving! To be fair I did eat a kilo of grapes that day as well, maybe that's why I didn't require the laxatives!!!! Hysterical Also, I didn't need to take many of the painkillers either which probably helped... You girls must be so excited, only 2 days left! Wishing you both loads of luck xxxx
