Any Australian girls on here?

Me and the family are more than likely emigrating over in the next 3 or 4 years,so by the time I need a 2nd BA I should be in Australia!

Just wondering how much they cost over there compared to the UK?

wow thats cool news! im going to be heading over there after i become a registered nurse which will also be in another 3-4 years :)
what state are you looking at??

Hey hon, I'm Aussie....cost is a stupid $12-13,000AUS (for a straight forward job, revisions can be up to $15-16,000 if you need lifts or anything else done too) !!!!!! I am going over to Florida USA to get mine done by Dr Don Revis...brilliant surgeon who is one of the BEST boob men in the world and charges US$5700 !!! dance

Cheap eh?! So all up I pay $2500 airfare and travel insurance, $740 for 9 nights in the Hyatt 4 star apartment hotel and $5700 for the op!!! Less than $10,000 for one of the best surgeons in the world (who is a specialist at boob job revisions too) and a mini holiday!! YEAH! I figure that with the $2-3000 I save going over there I can easily afford a follow up consult with an Aussie doc.... xxxx yipee

I am an Aussie! I live in queensland. I payed 12000 for my ba and now have to pay another 6500 to fix them! Not impressed. Pm me and I will pass on any info if you like.

Oh my God! That's quite expensive isn't it?! Maybe I'll be better off scheduling it for in the UK during a trip home haha. Dang,I was hoping it was cheaper over there....

Thanks very much ladies. PS TSmith,we're going to Perth. Hubby is a welder and there's quite a lot of work available in the mines North of there for him. I can't wait,but we want our youngest to be school age before we go,so I can meet other Mums and maybe get a job straight away. x

Aw thats fab hun!..we are looking to move to Canada in few years, as hubby is a satellite engineer and they are keen for them ove there, and it would be a great move for the kids, so much to do outdoors.

Hi, I had mine done in Sydney on Monday and it was exactly $9500, plus $180 for initial consult. The $9500 included everything including follow up post-op consults. Very happy with the result and extremely nice doctor.

My sister lives there!! Her partner is in the mining business too! haha how crazy is that. (Kalgoorlie is where they are)

I'm a stay-at-home Mum now with 4 children. But I used to be a secretary,and a salesperson. I'm thinking of re-training in something a bit better before we go though. Luckily we should all get a Visa on hubbys points alone,but I wouldn't mind having a trade to take with me too!

That sounds awesome! You will love Australia...it's soooo big and very varied in it's terrain...snow, desert, bush, tropical, rural, farming...big city! You name it! Mining in WA is quite isolated though...but I imagine there are a lot of opportunities with the money earned there!!! xxx
