I think I may have a touch of boobie blues. I am over the all round bloated feeling which has been bugging me but I am feeling very tender where my incisions are. I feel like when I move a certain way my leftie is pulling a little muscle around where my insicion is and I am terrified of tearing it open. I also get shooting sensations under both boobies. Besides this I am very happy with them size, shape etc.

What I would like to know is is this the norm and if so how long will it last? Am I just being paranoid that something is going wrong? Reassurance please-5 days post BA 267328

Thanks girls xxx

Kizzy! i feel the same girl.. Think its just normal. When i twist a little i get a really tight pull at my incision area - i hate the feeling. I think its the implant putting pressure on the incisions? Not too sure what it is though.. Im only 4 days PO so i cant tell you when it stops. For our sake i hope its SOON!..

Girls i'm 7 weeks and totally fine I was exactly the same as you even breathing too deeply I felt my right boob was gonna burst open! I was soo worried as I was only with one boob although both incisions were very sore I wanted to burst into tears with the right one! Although if your seriously worried call your clinic and ask to speak to the nurse, worth a call and maybe even a trip!
In regards to feeling bloated its side affects on the anesthetic and with my pain relief it also had the constipation as a side affect too.. Take a mild laxative and this will make you feel soo much better I promise!

Hi Kizzy,

I had the same hun and still getting the shooting pains now, I am hoping it is the nerves coming back together as still haven't much feeling from the nipple down. Reading other people's messages, I have realised this is quite normal for a while post Op. I too found if I turned one way, the stitches would feel quite sore. Don't worry hun, it'll take a lot to burst the stitches.

As for the boobie blues, I am sure this will settle down too sweet, it is a big adjustment and the effects of the GA and medication make you feel pretty poo for a good few days after. My tummy has only just gone down now as I was soooo bloated. Laxatives and lots of fluids def the key!

Big hugs xxx

Thank you so much for your replies, I feel better just from reading them. I didn't prepare myself for any of this, thought i'd bounce back and be fine after a couple of days. Glad I joined this forum, it really helps. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I didn't feel totally "normal" until 8 weeks or so, and even now I still have numbness - just no pain. Just take it easy, and if you're nervous please call your PS - you paid LOADS of money for them to reassure you!!

Hey Kizzy i felt worried about that too. When i had my dressings off i was 7 days PO and felt strange having bra directly on incisions. It was also the same day i drove for the first time and as i turned a rather sharp corner i screamed out in pain thinking i'd ripped one open(but it was fine)! It was just the muscle stretching underneath i think. They still feel weird but getting used to it more everyday. xxxHappy healing hun x

All that sounds totally normal hun, i had bloating, soreness around the incisions and loads of shooting pains. They went away after about a week but had some more yesterday.... none today though!! Weird.... you will feel a lot better soon hun, i healed more quickly than i thought and feel totally normal now, did a while ago to be honest. You need all the drugs etc to come out of your system, and get lots of sleep xxxxxxxxxxx
