How can you tell if you have CC?

Hi ladies!

So on the 13th of this month, I will officially be 2 months pre-op...my right boob has dropped and is slightly softer when I squeeze it compared to my left boob which is still sitting a little higher than my right and is a little firmer than the right, not drastically however. It's not like my right boob is super squishy and my left is rock hard...very slight difference, however I can still feel the difference.

Is it too early to tell if I have CC (capsular contraction), or because I have unders is it just too soon to tell because unders take longer to drop and soften? I have my next appointment with my PS in the first week of December, but I thought I'd ask for your opinions and thoughts!

I'm just hoping that when I squeeze my left boob that the 'firmness' I'm feeling is not CC and is just the normalcy of the implant being an under and so my lefty is being stubborn in dropping compared to my righty :)

I have EXACTLY the same issue, but reversed. Had unders 10 weeks ago, left is squishy and right is firmer (not drastically, just slightly). I've noticed that they're firmer or softer at various times of the day too.

I was freaking out to my BF about a week ago, saying that it was CC, etc, but he said it was not that noticable. From what I've read, CC would be significantly higher, firmer, harder, or would drop and then become firmer and harder and painful.

I'm going to wait mine out, maybe ask my PS at my next appt next week.

I'm interested to hear responses on this though. Hope we're both OK!!

Awesome in that we're in the same boat (because our stats are so similar)...not so awesome if it really does turn out to be CC for the both of us. Like you, I want to wait it out because I still feel I'm a tad early...only going on a little past 6 weeks (too early to freak out I feel).

If you don't mind, let me know what your PS says at your checkup next week, so I can compare stats and 'notes' with you. I don't want to flip out and call my PS as I'd rather just wait until I see him on the 14th of December...that'll give me this entire month to drop and soften and fluff more, but like you, am just hoping this is nothing to worry about...

It is too early to tell yet and if you had a bad grade cc you would know about it as it can be very painful. It could be about 6 months before they are both as soft as each other. This odd boob stage is very normal

I will definitely let you know what he says - although I'm guessing it will be the "wait and see" game.....I wouldn't be so nervous if it wasn't that the leftie is perfect (imo) and the rightie is just a bit high and firm.

I think someone on here once recomended that you take regular pics of your boobs as this was quite a good way of 'seeing' the visible changes that CC can cause. But, as misf1 already said you are still really early days so Im not sure whether this would work for you gals or not?! fingers crossed for you both xxx

Yes that's a good point and a good idea - I think one girl on here said she didn't even realize how bad they had gotten until she looked at a photo - since we see them everyday!
