I'm still like a sausage!

Good morning dolls hope you are all well?

I'm 7 days po today! But my I look like I've put on soo much weight :( I've completely lost my waist and I look and feel so fat. Do you think this could still be fluid/water retention or just the result of being very inactive for a week?

I feel so gross!

its the GA hun and also inactivity. im 20 days post op and my tummy is still not right, but ive been a bit less active too so its a combination, it will go though dont worry x

Hiya, isnt that horrible - I did too - from what I read on here the GA can really affect your digestive system making you feel MASSIVELY bloated - someone even described it as a poo-baby which made me laugh my head off!

I was advised by the lovely ladies on here to get senokot max and I got some to be on the safe side before my ba thinking I wouldnt need them - but they were right - and it works too. Not a nice topic poop problems I know but think you will feel so much better. It doesnt last long tho hon, really. xx

My tummy looked HUGE over the last two days too, its still not back to normal yet but has gone down a bit today although still look a little pregnant.lol I weighed myself yesterday and have put nearly half a stone! I am convinced the tummy will go tho (fingers crossed) as i think it has been a combination of GA , painkillers (which ive stopped taking now)and constipation(not good:( xxx

I am 2 weeks post op on Sunday and have only just lost my tummy, so don't be scared it will level out soon xxx

The thing is (sorry for the details!) but I'm actually going to the toilet fine and have been since day 3!! So I don't think it's a poo baby (lol!) it's actually just fat I think! I used to have a small waist but now I'm just straight up and down with no definition. Dang.

Oh well you can't have it all I guess! X

Hey Pussycat, I'm 2 wks PO on sat and have been the same i looked about 8 months pregnant with my new boobs and BIG belly!! Ha Ha mine wasn't a poo baby either Shifty

Good news is it's gone down quite a lot the last few days and loads more today yipee

I've even got my skinny jeans on today!! So don't panic yet! Oh and i'm weighing half a stone heavier too :doh:

I've been the same hun, I look soooo bloated! Can't wait for it to go down, all the lovely tops I was hoping to wear to show off my new boobs don't look right with a big belly!!! Lol xxx

I am also really bloated. I'm 2 days post op and feel huge. My ribcage has increased by 2 inches but I suppose this is down to the bruising which is now visible both sides of my ribcage!!

I originally bought a 34 C sportsbra but had to buy a 36 as my ribcage was so swollen....I was only bloated for a bout 4 or 5 days but it eventually went down! I also felt pregnant all over again!

hi ive had huge belly for 2wks and its just started to go down, i asked my surgeon yesterday coz it woz upsetting me and he said it goes around 2wks.he said they did an experiment and all girls that took part had big belly but it does go.personally i think combo of GA and not doing much. thankfully i have started getting bak into my jeans. i did drink loads to flush out my system incase it woz fluid retention too.xxx
