Sucessful shopping trip.... Empty Sucessful shopping trip....

Post by sugarplum_sassie 10th October 2011, 4:47 pm

at last!! Some of you may remember my last post about my sports bra dilema, well I finally got back into town today to change it. Went back to Triumph and tried on the next cup size up which was a 32F but it was too big, in the cup and strangely the band aswell Sucessful shopping trip.... 751387 even though the band on the 32E I'd originally bought was fine Sucessful shopping trip.... 267328 so I ask to try a 30F, to be told they don't do 30 bands in that style Rolling Eyes so they bring me out a different style in a 30F which fits ok but still feels a bit snug on the cups, so I ask for 30FF, to be told they don't do FF straight to G, I'm thinking I'm never going to fit a G, but I did!!!Shocked I cannot bl**dy believe it!! and finally I am comfortable, no wonder my boobs were hurting in my 32E! I've only worn it for 2 weeks so I'm going to advertise it on here. So I still only have 1 sports bra that fits Rolling Eyes but I only have 2 weeks left of having to wear a sport bra anyway, so I'll make do now. Although the one I've got isn't any good for high impact sports like running (the one I originally chose was) so I will need to buy myself a good sports bra at some point because I won't be able to get away with wearing a normal bra for sports anymore Sucessful shopping trip.... 557141

This i the one I now have: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The band is so comfy, and comes down lower on my ribs which is great because it's nowhere near my scars and I can get rid of the cotton wool padding I've used to cover my scars, the straps are velcro so really easy to adjust and go tighter than normal bras, which is fab aswell because I usually struggle to get straps tight enough on me. Only down side is it's that horrible polyestery/nylony fabric that I really don't like Sucessful shopping trip.... 588945 but for the sake of the comfort and a bra in my size, I'll put up with that.

After that I went to Debenhams, oh my goodness I was in bra heaven, they had a sale on and I decided I'd have a bit of a try on, just to see what fitted, wasn't going to buy any underwired bras for a few more weeks. Tried some 30s and 32s F and FF, well strangely some 32Fs fitted but the 30FF were too big on the band Sucessful shopping trip.... 751387 I asked for a 28 band but they didn't do it in that particular style and I was running out of time so didn't go out and choose a different style to try in a 28FF or 28G or even 28GG??? (will be going back soon though as I have to know!) But I was so happy I stumbled upon a great find, I looked at the maternity bras, not the breast feeding ones with flaps just normal non wired bras, and they had some NICE ones in larger cup sizes Sucessful shopping trip.... 727935 so I tried a few of those on, most maternity styles only started at a 32 band so I tried a 32F and 32FF in different styles and they both fitted, I decided to get the 32F one as it was like a t-shirt bra wth no wired so I thought more practical for under clothing and it had more of a plunge neckline so again better for under clothing. The 32FF was a pretty black and pink lace but the cups were fuller so less freedom with clothes and I thought I'd save the pretty bras for underwire/push-ups. Debenhams had great range on non-wired bras in various sizes which I was so pleased to find because I wanted to get one for transitioning out of my sports bra and into underwire. Bonus was the one I picked had 20% of so was on £14.60, only thing is I can't find them on their website anywhere Sucessful shopping trip.... 267328 otherwise I would have put up a link, but definately worth popping in for a look, for those of you wanting a non wired NICE bra.

By this time my parking was running out but I nipped into M&S quickly and they had a sale tooSucessful shopping trip.... 773440 there were bras for like £6!!! I spotted this one which I really like (pic doesn't do it justice) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

which they had in a 30G but I had to leave it as I didn't have time to try it on Sucessful shopping trip.... 683465 The website still have that size in stock but I really ought to try it on, so I'll be back in town on Friday for another post-op nurse appointment so fingers crossed it's still there and it fits and I can snap up a bargain!

So crazy that I fit into those sort of sizes, but makes me feel great Sucessful shopping trip.... 154564 , although finding those sizes are rather tricky and more expensive Rolling Eyes All the pretty bras in Next that I used to drool over are a no go as they only go up to D max! (same for New Look) Their DD+ range isn't terribly inspiring and strangely they don't do FF? F then G.
