My sister is just harassing me. It just doesnt end. When I plucked up the courage to tell her that i was going to have a boob job she completely went off at me saying that i was ruining my body and how could i do that and that I am petite and can wear a wonderbra. I told her that you need boobs in the first place for a wonderbra to actually work! The first thing she did was say nasty things about my husband asking why he would let me do such a thing.

Ive had a couple days break from her and have stopped emailing her, and now she has come back in full force telling me how her friends friend had a boob job and her body rejected it and she was so sick and shes naming all the people who apparently did not have a good experience.

My sister was blessed with natural large boobs, she clearly got the boob gene and stole it all away from me. Its just really disheartening when people can be like this. I originally wanted to go for rhinoplasty first and she was all for it but now that its boobs instead, she is completely against it!!

she may be jelous that you will have better boobs than her

She may really think that boobs were "her thing" (since you say that she had the boobs in the family. You were the naturally petite, cute and skinny (?) one....so now if you get boobs, you'll be "taking away" her thing.

hope you find support elsewhere, and you should tell her that your husband and real friends are supportive, and that you know the risks but are willing to go through with it for something you really want.

Don't know why she would react that way unless she's either really worried about u or she is upset with her own boobs and might be a bit jealous. Best to let her calm down then ask why she's so against something that will improve your self esteam

Hi there sorry to intrude on your convo, But my sister was just the same as yours shes blesst too I dont think shes jealous of you its just that people with naturaly big boobs dont understand people with small boobs my sister keep on telling me that im selfish and that I should spend the money on my kids take them away on holiday and that she has constant back pain if she was my size she wouldent tuch them at all. Im calling her round this week for a deep convo:( im hopeing shell be more supportive its so dishartening when some 1 close to you does not support you :( and Im so deprate for boobies sick of talking about my dream boobs just whant them now instead of talking about it I want to walk the walk;) xx

Hun, i have the same with my two sister, i have a very jealous older sister, anything i do she goes off one on. It was the same when she found i was getting this done, my husband was accused of controlling me, and forcing me into it. It got so bad, that she doesnt actually know ive had it done.

None of my family do, except for my mum, husband and sister in law, and my friends. She is probably concerned, but in my experience it was jealously, my sister are very jealous of my life, but i worked hard to get where i am and get my boobies. Give her a few weeks, but you will learn not every one will agree hun. xxx

If there's anything I've learned in the last few months it's that not everyone will support you. Some girls thought their parents would hate the idea and got support, other girls own boyfriends were against it! You never know, and unfortunately, you could get a different reaction from everyone you tell.

I think thats something I have learnt too, my mum and dad are not best pleased about it, and everytime i see them, i get comments, not in a mallicous way but im fed up of hearing it now.



Although it is difficult i think you just have to take it on the chin hun and enjoy the experience, your sister will have to face the fact that you have made a decision whether she likes it or not. Its your body and mind, dont let anyone take that away from you.

honey.... sod everyone else. She'll forget about it in time, let her get over her tantrum on her own, keep yourself to yourself for a bit. She is obviously just worried about you and cares for you, just reacted in an inappropriate way!! Everyones different in their opinions on these things, we all understand how you feel and why ur getting it done!!
Like welshvikki said.... its ur body. Ur a grown woman, just keep ur distance for a bit, let the dust settle!!

If I were you, I'd tell her "I wish you could be more supportive of what I'm about to go through and endure, being my sister and all, but honestly BUTT OUT!" It's really not any of your sister's business as to the *decision* YOU are going to make whether it's regarding a BA or a rhinoplasty.

She should really be supportive of any decision that you make in knowing that she has a smart sister...she should be there for you no matter what, and not belittle you in any way or fashion. Just my .02.

She sounds jealous, or maybe she thinks you're 'stealing her thunder'. At the end of the day you're doing this for YOU, just ignore her. x

Families can be SO weird. I just don't get it.

Don't let it detract from your excitement or happiness though honey, she can either start being more supportive and less of a cow or she can jog on. This is about YOU. xx

Thanks ladies, i am just going to ignore it. Theres a part of me that thinks she is just trying to look out for me but there is apart of me that knows my sister better than anyone else. Boobs have always been her thing and now all of a sudden thats going to change.....

She is coming to South Africa in December and will see them then so by then (hopefully) my new boobs would have settled in nicely and look natural so i can show them off to her haha

Good on you, go for it!!! Probably your sister is tormented with the idea of you having nicer firmer boobs than her... especially if she's famous for her big boobs as you'll be stealing the limelight very soon wooohoooo

it annoys me when ppl say 'oh u dont need them done' when all they see is me with clothes on and a good bra to try and make them look bigger/better. they dont see wot happens when i take the bra off and how they look when iv got no clothes on and i look out of proportion. thing is i wouldnt wana show anyone my boobs cos embarassed and surely thats a good enough reason to get them done!

i reckon she had the boobs and now ur guna av them she may feel slightly annoyed my sister is curvey and always had big boobs im slim and tall and had NO boobs so i was VERY worried when i had mine done that she would hate me but shes been very good, give ur sister time! xxx
