Feel the edge of my implant now :(
Hi
I now have a hollow bit, when i run my fingers along the top of my boob towards my cleavage i can feel the implant where it finishes. My boob's are getting saggy again :( BEEP sake why did i bother getting depressed now
I guess i need to phone my surgeon again and ask if i'm covered.

Re: Feel the edge of my implant now :(
Hi susi I'm sorry to hear :o( But is it only the 'feel' that bothers you or can you see the edges in the mirror? If there's nothing wrong in the way they look, I wouldn't worry for now. Did you get them done 1 year ago? Sounds early for sagging or maybe because you kept loosing weight after the surgery?

You can see a ridge in the mirror, they are uncomfortable and sore sometimes and yes they are sagging maybe it is the weight loss i don't know.
Although my bras still fit me !

It could be a ripple, which you can feel. Most of us have this and it's nothing to worry about.
You surgeon should have told you that if you lose weight after surgery then your implants may look more ound and visible, and rippling can occur. If this is the case you wouldn't need a reop, as it's not surgeon's error

Re: Feel the edge of my implant now :(
Susi,
Keep us informed hun. I'm a bit interested in what you decide as I have a bit of weight (20 lbs) to lose as well. I had unders though, so I'm not sure they would behave the same way after weight loss, although maybe at the bottom instead of the top?
Good luck with your decision!

Re: Feel the edge of my implant now :(
I'm sure that rippling is not covered by the surgeon..As far as I remember all surgeons are giving warning before BA that it can occur. I've small rippling which you won't see, only when touched...My implants are placed over my muscles and I can feel implant in some little areas but I don't bother bcoz they look and feel nice..:)
