so confused after my consultation

Hi everyone

I just wanted to get ur opinions and some advice really, am looking to get surgery in next few weeks is something that i have been wanting to do for years and after having 2 kids think its def the right time! i'm currently 32a and wanting to go to dd/e, i'm 5ft 9 and size 10.

I went for my first consulation today with transform in brentford and saw a the patient co Karen and then had a consultation with Mr chantarasak, he suggested that i go for 410 or 460 round implants over the muscle, he also said he could put them under the muscle if i wanted them to look more natural but wont have as much of a clevage than i would if i went for overs!? he said its up to me depending on wot i want i'm just so confused now not sure wot i want wether i want them to look fake or go for the more natural look and worried that there gona be to big! also he mention that there was higher risk or rippling if i go for bigger sizes?

has anyone else had mr chantarasak and similar sizes any advice you could give me would be great i didnt think i would feel this confused after i had my consultation thought i would have everything sorted and the surgeon would tell me what he is going to do but feel like he has left me with to many decisions to make! x

Your cleavage will be determined by what you have now.There is a good link on here that explains it.I'll try to find it and post it again for you.It has to do with how your chest wall is etc.I have full unders and they nearly touch in the middle.I always had a nice cleavage though.



I'd make a list of some questions you have and call to ask them again.Or go back in for them to clarify things for you.I went on a total of 4 consulatations and the doctor I ended up chooseing saw me several times before I decided on using her for my surgery.She didn't charge me for the secondary visits which was nice :)

I had Mr C and I had 410cc overs from a 32A and Mr C did warn me that I could get rippling or the implant edge to be visable. But I have none of this, he wouldn't go any bigger than 410 for me. I prepared myself for a slight fake look, but I have a natural look, which Mr c was also happy with.

Hey Emma, what a tricky decision you have to make! Personally If I had that decision to make ( and may well do!!) I would go for a more natural look, I think, as you can create cleavage through good bras/bikinis and I'm not wanting to tell many people so would prefer to 'blame the cleavage' on my bra!! I guess the only thing is naked then cleavage wont be achieved but maybe the fact that your boobies are bigger will be enough? Good Luck with everything!! Xxxx

HI Emma. I am also 5'9 and just over 10 stone. I had 350 overs and was an a and now a d cup, so I suppose its a case of how big do you want to be. MY overs don't look fake and they haven't dropped yet. Plus its a quicker recovery time which is important if you are active like me. Good luck with your decision x

thanku all for ur advice i think i am deciding more towards overs now but am stil not 100% sure i have booked my op for 5th Oct so not long to go now! and am going to see surgeon again on wed just to talk thinks over again as am really stressing about it.

peggysue - i am similar to u am empty 34a now after breastfeeding two babies and would like to be minimum dd to an e, thats one of my worries do not want two look like i have just had to footballs stuck on me lol and sweetcarol yes the recovery after with unders ive heard is much worse which scares me as i have two toddlers to look after but then again dont want to pick overs just coz of that considering the amount of money it is and only hoping to do it the once! xxx

If I were u I would go and see another surgeon just for a different view. They all say different things as they all have their own preferences. Perhaps find a picture of your ideal set of boobs and a pic of your not so ideal boobs to show them. None of the surgeons I saw really gave me the choice to go under, they all said over but if under would give u the best result then I'd go for that despite the pain. I looked at so many before and after pics and there were fantastic overs and fantastic unders. There are pros and cons of both placements so just have a good look into these. Take a pic of ur fave boobs and really grill ur surgeon he should really be telling u if under or over would suit and like the other girls have said bras really have an impact xx

Also I have spoken to endless people who have assured me Mr Chantarasak wont give the fake look xx

I'm also having Dr Chantarasak on Wednesday for my BA, having 280s or 310s low profile overs.I'm 5ft 7 and 8stone. He said the same to me at consultation, i was totally stressed but I'm going with what he said as he's the expert and i'vemet quite a few girls who've had him and they all look bloomin great.I've decided on overs as i also have a pesky toddler and 3 dogs to walk and he said it would give a natural look as long as the implant was not too big (he wont go big anyway). I think seeing him again is the best thing to do and also good advise from loopylou.

I'm still nervous but think we've picked a great man for the job I'll let you know how mine goes xx

Well hun I keep changing my mind. But after speaking to the hospital the otherday they assured me I wouldnt get the stuck on look. So I am preparing myself for a slight ridge and going for 460 overs. If I could have 525 overs I would but he wouldnt do it.
I just think its going to be such a long recovery to have such a big implant under the muscle. And I have my 3 lovely babies to think about in all this too.

i think im deciding more on overs now especially afetr hearing that mr c doesnt like the stuck on look so hopefully wont get it lol yeh thats wot puts me off the most about unders is the recovery coz i got a 2 n hlf yr old and a 1 n half yr old and m really worried about how i'm gona cope with them after, not sure wots worrying me the most that or the op!

I'm going to see mr chantarasak again 2mo so hopefully all wil be decided then.

Sounds like you have made up your minds girls :) I have decided to go with overs too. I have enough tissue apparently (which surprised me lol) and I really want to have a great cleavage. Juicy round boobies ;-) Don't want them to be held in too much by muscle either as I want to get back into exercising and taking some classes as soon as I can - I get so lazy in the winter and always get so unfit!

And as far as I know, my surgeon does not give the 'fake' look so hope to look fairly natural. Saying that, I think the fake look totally rocks, I just don't think it would suit me somehow. Maybe I'll change my mind after getting boobies and think it would..... and that will have to be boob job #2!!!

opal eyes that is exactly wot i want a great clevage with nice big boobies lol and i am getting quite lazy at the min so think i need to start exercising and toning up a bit more (as my boyf likes to tel me!) so am 95% sure am gona go with overs. i dont even mind the fake look to just dont want them to look ridiculous on me! x

so i went to see surgeon on wed and i asked him wot he would say is best to do on me overs or unders? he said to go for overs coz of the way my boobs are at min and something to do with the placement and will look much better underneath than overs would. he assured me i have enuf skin to go for overs and hopefully for the 460cc as well. he said coz im going for bigger implants is a chance of rippling so is gonna use 100% sllicone implants to reduce chances of it happening.

am so excited now!! x
