6 week post op appointment update!
Hi Ladies,
I had my 6 week post op appointment on Friday so I thought I would post a little update.
All is ok, the surgeon was pleased and said everything looks good, I had a slightly raised vein running downwards under my left scar which he said was a bit of a clot from the op but would just go on its own and I could help by massaging it with moisturising cream.
I asked about exercising and he said everything is fine now including running, weights and press ups but to be sensible and to build up slowly!
He also said that any theme park rides are ok to go on (I posted a topic here before about theme parks), he said that in the UK there is no possible way the implants they use would rupture as they can withhold extreme pressure. He did however say there were issues with some of the implants used in the US which could rupture under that sort of pressure.
I have been measured for some lovely bras and I am measuring a 34G (34G-GG in La Senza) which I would never have believed unless I had actually tried them on! It is really hard to find bras that fit due to the size and very limited in the selection which is a disappointment but after trying on many many different ones I have finally found some that I like and look nice.
I am loving wearing pretty bras but I am still wearing a sports bra at night as I am a bit scared not to (don't know why really).
I have got my before photos from my surgeon now and will take some up to date ones so I will try and post them to picturetrail and let you know when they are ready.
xx

Re: 6 week post op appointment update!
Congrats hun, glad everything is well. Best its nice to be able to get back to working out (if you do that is lol)
You would think in this day and age there would be a much wider range of bras out for the larger size...especially with b.a's increasing in popularity.

Re: 6 week post op appointment update!
I went out for my first run (4 miles) on Sunday which was nice, looking forward to toning up again as going on holiday in just over 4 weeks so want to be able to wear my new bikinis with pride.
It is very disappointing with the sizes, I think now I know what styles fit well it will be easier in future to buy bras.
I bet you can't wait for yours now!!

Iv started wearing proper bras, on the "odd" occasion but it feels wierd, kinda uncomfortable like the bra is putting my boobs in positions they shouldnt be! is this normal??

Glad your post-op check went well hun.
I found wearing normal bras quite uncomfortable for quite a while after my op hun, I had to 'break' myself in gently and just do a couple of hours a day, building up slowly. You do get there in the end though. xx

Re: 6 week post op appointment update!
Thanks girls!
Lolly - I have the exact same bra in black, its a lovely fit!!
I am finding the bras a little bit uncomfortable after wearing sports bras for so long but its getting easier every day.
I am being good exercise-wise and taking it easy - I am terrified of doing any damage!!
