Hi to you all.
I decided to go and see my surgeon this week as both my boob's were starting to feel harder than they did before and not very comfortable in the evening when sleeping, so as you can imagine you think the worst and i started to think CC ! so went along to the spire and saw my surgeon and yep you guessed it she has diagnosed me with grade 2 in my left and grade 3 in my right :(
Not happy obvioulsy but i guess these things happen, but the reason for writing this is to see what others who have been unlucky to get CC, what they had been told to do.
I have been told to just carry on as i am, and would probably need a re-op in 5 to 7 years, what do you all think.
My problems are they don't hurt, they just feel uncomfortable when im in bed so i tend to wear a tight vest top or sports bra, they havn't changed in shape well i don't think they have.
I have lost a stone and half in weight so my own breast tissue has gone down in the upper pole area.
I have read that you can massage them to help and might actually help, anyone know if this is true and it has helped or cured ?

Really don't know what to think, can't imagine going through surgery again so soon, but i guess if i have to then i will.

Hi susib, sorry about the cc being diagnosed hun.

A few months ago I went to see my ps because I was having some discomfort in my left breast. He examined me and said everything looked and felt okay and said he thought it might be hormonal. Anyway while I was there I thought I'd mention that my right breast appeared slightly rounder at the top than my left. He said yes it was a little prouder and that it was cc. I nearly fell off my chair. I don't have any pain, it doesn't look mishapen and it doesn't feel hard, he said that it's early cc and not to worry because it's not noticable. He said he will do a re-op but why bother doing it now when they look okay, to come back nearer the 5 year mark before my aftercare runs out. I have decided to leave it for now because it isn't noticable, but I will go back eventually and have the re-op.

Are you not covered for cc hun?

I have heard that massage can help, the type of massage is extreme though, very firm. Also lying your boobs on a gard surface and rolling on them and vitamin E tablets. Dont know if they work?

Thanks for your replies, sorry to hear about you Alfie, although as you say everything is fine at the minute and who knows might not change or get any worse, I think i will try the massage treatment though, it's worth a go.
I'm not sure on my aftercare, i forgot to ask her what my cover was when i saw her last wk, i was trying to get over the shock !.
Does anyone know what the spires policy is ?
Thanks Misf1 i will try the vitamin E as well. x
