Dropping and fluffing queries
Hi ladies :)
I'm almost three weeks post-BA now and all is good so far, scars are healing nicely, I'm happy with the size and have hardly any pain any more other than the dreaded morning boob. Getting used to having boobs after 30 years of not having any is actually quite fun! :)
Anyway, I've got a couple of questions about dropping and fluffing I haven't been able to find answers to on the forum yet...
1) Does the size you were initially have any impact on when the drop/fluff might happen? I had no breast tissue at all really pre-BA and am wondering whether this means it'll take longer for me - because the skin has to stretch more or something?! God knows (can you tell I've had too much time on my hands being off work so long to think about all this)
2) When I hopefully do drop/fluff, will my boobs start moving? I don't mean randomly dancing about - it's just that, due again to the almost total lack of breast tissue pre-BA, my boobs are currently very static and don't move at all when the rest of my body does. I'm not looking for anything too pendulous but I'm just a bit worried they might always be like this? Again, I know I'm over-thinking things but just thought I would see what you all think...xx

Re: Dropping and fluffing queries
Hi girlie - yes, I know what you mean when I was home I thought of SO MANY questions to ask on here :)
I am about the same time PO as you, although I had more tissue to start with - maybe this will help give you an idea - I'm just now starting to see SLIGHT movement in mine, when I walk, or bounce. They're just now starting to soften a bit.
I would hazard to guess that you won't see movement until both the skin and muscle (since you had unders) relaxes.
It seems logical that you will take more time since you had such little breast tissue to begin with - but with 300cc, it will def stretch eventually!

Thanks Ali - that helps a lot. I think they already look a bit less stuck on/high up than when I first had the op, it's just a case of being patient now I guess. How's your recovery going? Looking fab in your avatar :) xx

Re: Dropping and fluffing queries
Thx!! Recovery has been a breeze, except for the "sunburned boobie" feeling that I can't WAIT for it to go away!!
I'm actually contemplating going to the gym for a bit today!

Re: Dropping and fluffing queries
Hi alex33 you match where i am now and where I am going sizewise. Are you happy with the size I am very nervous about ending up too big or small. Don't know if I can ask to see your pics I am new to the site am having my bs in Dublin on 21st and am still struggling to make a final decision. What was the reasoning behind moderate profile. I am 5 3 and eight stone three pounds any advice would be great x

Hey Redumbrella,
I am 5 weeks post op now and I no longer have morning boob It stopped last week.
I, too didn't have much breast tissue and my boobs are like yours, no movement :( although they are not hard when I feel them, it's just they don't move and I can't create cleavage :((

Re: Dropping and fluffing queries
Hey hun the drop and fluff is different for everyone and yes it will sometimes depend on what you start with. When we say it can take a year to heal it really can. I would expect your boobs to look pretty normal and move by about 6 months
Re: Dropping and fluffing queries
Hey Shell - sorry hun I actually don't have any pics of the boobies...I have only taken pics with bathing suits, bras on...sort of a weird thing of mine!!!
BUT - I'm happy to give you any advice you need!
Ok, first, the size, I'm totally happy with it. I'm a bit chubby at the moment, but they're perfect and if I drop 15 lbs or so they'll look even bigger! I don't wish I'd gone bigger per se, but I definitely COULD have gone bigger - in other words, going 400 or even 425 wouldn't have looked "too big" or "fake". I did have quite a bit of breast tissue however, for a B, like there was a lot of stretch in it, so they're softening and dropping quickly.
The profile - well, I guess I went moderate because I was nervous that high would have too much projection. I wanted to be able to push them up if I wanted to, but I didn't want "constant cleavage". However, I see many girls on this site went with High profile and they look wonderful and not fake at all.
I had under the muscle - is that what you're having? I ask because I think overs tend to do high profile to fully fill out the breast and avoid looking like a "donut". Also, I have a wide ribcage, and the moderate profile was lower and wider than the high profile - and I wanted them to look "full" and swell a bit out the sides so they looked like real boobs - and they do!
If you can see from my avatar - the moderate profile still gives me lovely round full boobies - so I'm very happy with it.
Hope this helps!!
This is so exciting for you!! Good luck and write me back or PM me if you have any more questions!!

Re: Dropping and fluffing queries
Im 3 months post op, and mine were bouncing around after 8 weeks, ive been so lucky so far with mine, as for fluffing, every body is different! some people do and some stay the same.. i keep thinking mine r gonna stay as they are now, but im listening to the other girls when they say it can take a year to change, some women have had a size increase with in that 12 months! im hoping mine do :) xx
