Re: Boob job with kids??
I have a 19mth old boy and a 3yr old girl and was really worried about afterwards as they both like to jump on me etc as kids do. My fiance was off for the 1st week and that was a big help but I didn't find the pain etc 2 bad and I had unders. I def couldn't have lifted them but after a week or so I was still really careful but was pretty much back to normal just took it easy. I told my oldest that I'd hurt my arms and couldn't lift her and she couldn't jump on me and she was really good. I think I worried for nothing xx

Re: Boob job with kids??
I have 4 children at the time aged 1 and a half, 5 and 2 aged 9. My hubby was on hand for the 1st week then my dad for the following week. They lifted my 1& a half year old out of the cot and down stairs for me so I wouldnt hurt myself so I had the 1st 2 weeks covered.
But I took longer then 2 weeks to heal and hurt myself 2 weeks post op by lifting the little one out of the cot! I pulled my stitches and cause a mondors cord which settled after a few more days resting but was a sharp reminder not to over do it even at 2 weeks post op!
No lifting it the key...........my friend had a 3 month old baby and came home from her B.A to no help. She done herself so much damage in the end that at her 2 week post op check theysent her to her P.S who told her if she didnt go and stay with family and get help she would not heal ( she had pulled all her stiches and caused infection and angry wound) so she had to travel 4 hours to stay with her mum and it took her nearly a month to get better............
So if you have children then make sure you have someone on hand to help you as you will need to rest and heal
xx

Re: Boob job with kids??
I was fine to look after my 3 & 5 year old boys straight away as didn't really have any pain but I didn't lift them up for 4 weeks (they are old enough not to need to really anyway) and actually now my 3 year old has become a lot more independant and always gets in/out of the car by himself and up on our high bar stools at the breakfast bar etc. It may be worth thinking about the times you are lifting them now and see if you can encourage them to do it on their own so you will have a better idea of what you need help with.
My main worry was if my youngest fell asleep in the car and I wouldn't be able to carry him out (it only happened once and I just woke him up so no big deal really).
