Will I be ok on my on by day 3?

Hi Girls,

Found out today my boyfriend has to go out for a few hours on the 3rd day after my BA. Will I be ok on my own or do I need to find a boobiesitter (as I heard someone else say on here Hysterical

) to look after me? Or any tips? It might all be fine as my housemate will probably be around but I'm just trying to be as prepared as possible!

you'll be fine hun....i had severe pain after my ba (only for a week tho.....but totally worth it!) and was fine by myself....most people are painfree by then, just unconfortable if move around too much. id say, get him to bring you drink and munchies and the tv remote before he leaves :) you'll be fine xx

depends on how u heal babes. i had my BA on the mon afternoon, went home on the tues morn. which i had someone there all day, then on the weds i was on my own all day till teatime, i have a 6 yr old too but shes a good girl. i just got on with it, i had no one to look after me they were all at work, couldnt be helped. i was ok thou, just sat still, we watched dvds and she crayoned most of the day. obviously would of been nice to have someone there the first few days but hey ho. if he has to go out, make sure u have the essential next to you and im sure u will be fine xx

Thanks so much for replying! I thought I probably would be, but I just dont know what to expect, I've never had any type of operation before.

How are you feeling now Kayleigh? Do you feel totally back to normal now? I cant wait to have mine done and be healed already!

Meme - your little girl sounds like an angle! Hope your in less pain now!

Hey. I feel fine now. No pain or anything for well over a month now :) they are still dropping tho (and at different rates) and my left nipple is still numb....but the feeling of actually having boobs out weighs all that. I couldn't be happier :) the next couple of weeks will fly by for ya and in no time you'll have boobs too :) xx

Aww so pleased you had such a great experience! I hope mine goes as well! Fingers crossed yours drop soon and you get all the feeling back. I'm slightly worried about that as i'm having a lift on one side. I'm sure it'll all be ok, probably just pre op jitters! xxx

I was on my own on day 3 with looking after my 2 boys (3 & 5) and was fine so as long as you take it easy you'll be ok x

yes you should be fine, stay in bed with some dvds on, chocci bars at hand, snuggle up to your v pillow and enjoy the rest. make a large flask of tea and retreat upstairs lol

Hello, just thought I'd say I'm on day 3 post op today!! I had 325 & 350cc overs.
My boyfriend had to work so I've been on my own since 7am until 5pm! Well apart from my puppy cocker spaniel who's good company lol!!
Ive coped fine, he left me everything I immediately need on a stool next the bed including house phone, tablets, drink, book, mag and nibbles!! I've been downstairs a few times to stretch my legs and mangaed a bit of washing up!! If you take it easy and don't bother getting out of your pjs you'll be alright!!

Your be fine, i was on my own post op day two for 3 hours with my little girl. We just watched the tele in bed and didnt move. Make sure you have everything near, and enjoy the peace. lol xxx

make sure u got everything on a reachable level not to high or low and make sure things like loo door is open .. i had trouble getting door handles open ... but u will be fine x

I am on day 3 and have been out all day! We took my boyfs little girl to the park, walked round Asda, came back for lunch then i went to my stables and hung around while my fella mucked out then we took my horse out for a walk in hand (my boyf held him as he is a bugger). We came home, i got myself a shower (bottom half only) then i cooked tea for us all... i feel shattered now though! lol So i think you will be fine chilling out for a bit on your own on day 3! Dont you worry!

Aww, glad you've been more mobile today sweetcarol! That sounds like you've had a lovely day! I can tell my boyfriend to relax now. Hope your feeling less frustrated and are managing to do more now! (im dreading that part! I'm not very patient!)
