Unsure what implant siz to choose 410cc or 460cc

Hello gorgeous :) my boobs are a week old now, I was an A cup pre op and I have 410cc overs and have lost all sweling and I'm now a good DD :) but some girls who are A to begin with come out of 410s with FF/Gs! It really depends on your body shape. I'm 5'9" size 8 and weigh 9 and a half stone so we are quite similar so might take the implants similarly? :) Good luck!

Hi luci thanks for this. I'm having unders - does this give more on top of the implant and make it look a little more natural at all?

Not sure as I have overs, but mine look quite natural as overs so I assume they will look just as real under too with more on top :)

I'm stuck again now! Lucie, urs look quite big in ur pic for 410cc and I was going to get the 460cc. Wow, it's a hard decision for all of 50cc.

They aren't that big, it's because I angled the camera slightly below them to hide the dressings! :) and they are still sitting quite high which also makes them look larger. I told my surgeon I wanted to go to a DD and he said with my body shape I should get 410s.. obviously they see all the time how different implants affect different shapes so ask your surgeon what will take you to a full DD :) I think 460s would look quite top heavy on such a small frame but then there is only 50ccs in it and mine don't look top heavy at all! It is a tough choice, I changed my mind 2 minutes before being put under haha so nothing is set in stone until you actually go into surgery so don't feel pressure to make a choice right here right now :)

hey, if your unsure its prob best to with th bigger ones as fake boobs tend not to look as big as real ones in th same size. i had 460 from a c cup n now measure an ff/g but i dont look it. i look like an E cup. ppl dont believe me till i show thm my label! xxx

That's a fair point, I look more like a full C than a DD!

would you be more disappointed if they were slightly larger than you expected or would you be more disappointed if they were slightly smaller?

This is so tricky - everyone ends up with such different results. I was a 34AA. My 460 overs have taken me to a big 34DD although I haven't dropped and fluffed yet so don't know what the end result will be. I think I look more like a D???



I was nervous that they would be too big having heard of others becoming an F with the same implants. BUT - I was very aware of others who came home from surgery and wished they had gone bigger.

Typically, 100cc's is one cup size and that works out right with me going from an A to a DD.. that's what my surgeon told me :) go with your gut on the day.. I did and I definitely made the right choice!

if i cud, i would have liked to have had bigger implants....
i think abbie was spot on with that statement...would you rather be a bit too big or a bit too small?

Hi there, I have exactly this same dilemma! I am booked in for 23rd Oct with Mr meleagras and he gave me the choice of 410 or 460. I have quite low 'empty' boobs (from weight loss) and Mr Meleagras said that he would recommend the 460s. I just thought that they looked massive when I picked up the implant to try it!

I'm 5'7" and 9 stone 10, so confused about what to do! Am tempted to go with the 460s as I dont want to end up regretting not being slightly more 'full' after the op, also I was warned that the rice test will show them as bigger than the real implants will be... any advice would be amazing, I'm new to this site so still getting used to it...

Ah should prb have said that at the moment I'm a 34C... Jen86 your avatar looks amazing and I just noticed that you were 34C before and had 460s, I'm so excited about the op but scared that I'm going to pick the wrong size!

HELSBELS are you having unders or overs, if its unders you gonna lose about 15-20cc anyway...

I'm having understand so I will prob go for 460 in that case! Also will c what the surgeon dr Paganelli recommends on the day.
Do u know if a sports bra will be okay for a post op bra as I dnt really have £50 for a proper one??

it does depend alot of people get different size results with the same cc although as a general measure 100-150cc take you up a cupsize but it depends on your body shape and size and bra size width xxx

im guessing 410 would take you up 3-4 cupsizes to around a DD 460 prob another size up but im no expert and people can get completely diff sizes with the same cc xxx

Hi hon, I am the same as you, maybe a little smaller. I am a size 6 - 8 (Australian) and weight 50kg. I had 375cc unders, I am glad that's the biggest I went because any larger would look top-heavy when I am naked. They look great when I am dressed, even slightly small, but naked is where they look quite large. If you want to look BIG in clothing I would suggest the larger size, but if how you look naked is really important to you I would suggest the smaller of the two - but this is purely down to my own experience.


As the girls all say - everyone is different. Someone the exact same size etc as me could have the same implant and end up a different cup size.

I do want them to look bigger with clothes on too so think I'll go for the bigger ones but will also see what the surgeon thinks. Bkoz, do u have pics of urs I can see pls?

If you want BOOBS they are both good sizes but dont judge it on bra size as I had 270 and fit into a 32 34 D to DD so just find pics of boobs that you like and go with that!

Hi im older than you and breast fed 3 children but my stats are very similar and I have been offered 525 unders or 460overs and have decided on the 460 overs Trying the implants on under clothes was a rough guide and I lovd them! But I am going to clinic on thursday to try the sizer bra with a tight top I will get a photo and if you inbox me your email I will send you a photo if that helps? xx

Hay hun.............Im going to try and exsplain this in a easy way ( I tend to mubble on a bit and it can hard to get what im going on about!)



If your starting at a 30-32 back bra then you would only need a very small amount of cc to go up a cup size.......if your a larger band size your would need alot more cc to go up a cup size.......so for instance say your a 30B then 460cc would take you upto around the G cup mark in a 30 back bra but if your say a 34B then the 460cc impalnt would only take you upto say a 34E..........



Now the next thing Ill explain......I liked DD boobs and asked my P.S for the "DD Cup" He though I ment 30DD which are small ( go and have a look at a 30 back DD bra and youll see what I mean) I was actually think of the bra Id picked up in the shop which was a 34DD (in my back size the cups would be around the same size as a 30ff or G bra)........Im so happy he didnt take me asking for DD litrally as I would have ended up with 30DD boobies , which is not the size I wanted.



You cant really go on what cup size you want to end up as it just dosnt work like that, I always wanted what I classed as "DD Boobies" but a DD in a 30 back is WAY smaller then a DD in a 34 back.......



This is how off it can be.....I wear 30G bra ( which in your head your probably thinking thats huge right) and quite a few of my friends when they were guessing my bra size said I was a Dcup and when I told them I was actually in a 30G bra they nearly hit the floor! I had to show them my bra lable for them to believe me as they said there is no way I look that big.....one of them is in 34G bras and she said she dosnt understand why im the same cup sizes as her when my boobs are not even half the size of hers........hope this is making sense lol





So if your hoping for 30DD that will look more a b-c cup in clothes then go for a much smaller implant then you have been offered but if you want to look a DD in clothes then id go for the larger ones and not worry about the actual bra size youll end up cause youll measure anywhere from a 30F-30G!

Totally makes sense adn also what I was thinking too. After seeing 30DD bras in debenhams they looked way small so def going to go for the 460 to give me some good boobs!
I'm going to look at some pics of boobs and take images in of the shapes I like too so thanks!
I have Dr Paganeli from the hospital group on Saturday so cross your fingers girlies!

Its difficult for a surgeon to determine what size your going to be post op, as they offer the cc based on your measurments, another way is to find some pics of the kind of look your after and take it in for your surgeon to see and then he has an idea, although yours wont look exactly like the pictures. Im 5ft 4 and 8st ish and I was offered 460 or 525cc I have opted for the 525's as one I would rather be too big than to small and secondly there wasn't a huge difference between them.



Its quite a difficult thing to compare as what one girl may get from a 460cc implant isn't neccasarily going to give another girl the same. If your ps gave you the option of 460cc he obviously felt that this would suite your frame as I suppose he wouldn't have offered them otherwise.



In regards to the sports bra, Im not going to spending the money some people charge for them, look on ebay/amazon, they have really good post op bra's in asda, I think Tesco's too.
