Oppinions please girls...

So I saw Dr Frati down at Highgate and loved him and the hospital - he spoke to me clearly and in detail about what I would like from surgery and the look I was hoping to acheive.

I felt confident in what he was telling me and liked that he wanted to even up my boobs with different sized implants without me having to tell him that I was worried about them being odd!



Dr Khan at Transform was a different story - he wasn't interested in what I wanted out of the surgery and only could offer me 365cc over the muscle implants - he didn't measure me or feel my skin or anything, he said the most I could hope for would be a C cup.



I am now left wondering who was telling me the truth - Dr Khan wanted a deposit yesterday where as Dr Frati has told me to pay on the day of surgery, Not really a huge deal but a nice thought as when your asked for money it does make it seem like thats all they want you for,



I know you girls can't tell me what to do but I would appreciate a little advise,



I have had 2 consulations with Dr Frati and gone through every little question I had, he has been brilliant, Dr Khan didn't have time for me at all,

I know in an ideal world I should have a consult with another PS to see what their oppinion is but I am fast running out of time to be able to get to one with the hours that I work.



I am going to email Dr Frati today to book my surgery for 5th September - would this be a foolish thing to do given that the 2 PS gave me completley different surgery plans?

Ie 410 and 450 unders as opposed to 365 overs?



I have very little breast tissue and think the overs will be very visable - I did say this to dr Kahn but he said thats what happens when you have small boobs and want to go bigger - I really didn't like him at all!



So advise please girlies!!!

if you didn't like him - don't go with him! If you can fit in another consult, it would probably be good, but no matter what you do, I think it is a must that you feel comfortable and confident with your PS. Good luck hun xx

If your gut's telling you not to go with Khan, don't go with Khan. He's known for his lack of bedside manner, and if you were to have complications (there is a member on here suffering horrendous complications because of surgery with him) then you'd be treated in the same way.

As kiwigirl said, you need to feel like you're comfortable with your surgeon, and if Frati works for you, then that's great!

Just be sure to check your aftercare, implants and terms and conditions.

Kiwigirls right hun, you have to be 100% happy and confident with your surgeon, Mr Khan obviously doesn't give you that, going from the description of your consult, he didn't give you very much. I'd try and have another consult if you can hun, remember this is a big deal and you have to be sure. Good luck. xxx

Frati feels right if you know what I mean, I just don't think I can get another consultation in with anyone else.
I just didn't know if I am being foolish by not waiting a bit longer. I'm just so desperate to get my boobies now!

Women's intuition is a great thing, it sounds like you're really pleased with Frati and his explaining the procedure to you, if you don't have a chance to see another surgeon then that can't be helped, but you've got us here to help and offer advice when you need it.

hey hun definately go with who u feel is right i think mr khan is an excellent surgeon and have seen lots of his work but his bedside manner is not the greatest he's a surgeon who pretty much see's every patient as just a job but he is however bloody good at it. i'm getting my surgery at transform and also paid a large deposit to secure date didn't really have an issue with this but i know some people do.

Having had 2 ops conducted by Khan I can honestly say that he was most certainly NOT great for me!! X x and I would not want anyone else to go through what I am going through purely based on some great pictures!!

Everyone makes mistakes and gets things wrong, I can accept that however it's what you do to put them right that is the real test xx this PS was given the opportunity to fix things and didn't x x and now I have to live with the consequences x x

Also I wasn't impressed with the transform documentary where it was boasted he performs a ba in 20 mins. Sounds like just chucking implants in and hoping for the best. No skill involved there I wouldn't care how many pretty pictures he had.

I have emailed Dr Frati and confirmed my surgery for 5th September!!!

I'm sooo excited!

I sky+ it Misf but just couldn't bring myself to watch it in the end after Yetti warned me he was on there boasting about his '20 min BA's' xx I just couldn't bear to see him going on about how great he is after what he has done to me xx

You have to ask yourself if you want your BA performed in super fast time and sod the quality for the thousands of pounds you have just handed over or if you would prefer someone taking their utmost care and time over you and your body so that you end up with what you paid for and expected??? Bearing in mind you are asleep for the whole process therefore how long it takes is totally irrelevant!!! haha xx

I am thinking that with the result I ended up with I was probably one of his '15 minute' specials hahahahahahahaha

Actually I should do some work - I've got this weekend off - then only in for 3 days next week as I'm taking holiday from Friday,

Plenty of time to do my shopping and cleaning in the 3 days before! OMG I still can't believe I'm doing this!

gosh didnt see that program sounds horrible. yeah i've seen somde of his actual work i have 4 friends who have had ba's with him and they look good!! keep reading this stuff about transform and i'm starting to get scared i have a few personal friends who have had my surgeon mr meleagros and there boobs are amazing and my surgery is just a straight forward ba so hope i've made the right decision

I went with Transform, but needed a surgeon who was goig to be supportive. I didn't go with Khan but what I read about his bedside manner put me right off. As mods we're impartial, so won't get into debate about him or his work, but having seen Kay's struggle you have to wonder if he really enjoys what he does or if he does it because it pays well. That's just the impression I've got over the past five years and solely my opinion.
