Difference in cc sizes
I had my second of 2 consolts yesterday and got 2 different CC sizes from two different doctors. The first doctor took my measurements and suggested 300cc for a c cup. The second doctor just looked at me, without taking any measurements and suggested 390cc for a c cup. The 2nd doctor has been doing BA surgeries for a long time. He is ranked 2nd in my state of Ohio. I'm just wondering if a difference of 90cc will make that much of a difference. I'm currently a 34a.

Re: Difference in cc sizes
They say a cup size for every 100cc. But I am guessing it will vary with what profile they are. I am interested to hear what the other girls say.

Re: Difference in cc sizes
Yes 90cc will make a difference, but you need to be sure firstly that you want a C cup. I would take pictures in to show your surgeon exactly the look you want. As your idea of a C cup may be bigger or smaller than your surgeons. It's then down to which surgeon you trust to give you the look you are after. Both size implants may take you to a C cup but one size may look fuller than the other.
Re: Difference in cc sizes
I'm pre-BA, but.....
Try to see if your surgeon will let you take a look at the implants. Mine let me "try them on" inside a surgical bra to see the different sizes. Short of that, look online and see girls with "before" photos who have a similar size and shape to you, and then the "after" look you want, and then show that pic to your surgeon (before and afters almost always list how many ccs)
Also, remember there are different profiles, and silicone and saline "Fit" slightly differently, so make sure you really look at tons of pics!
Good luck!!!!!

Re: Difference in cc sizes
Yes hunni, any additional CC will make a difference, you wouldnt get a manufacturer wasting their time and money producing implants with the differing sizes if they would be of no consequence would you .
Totally agree with misf1.
Have you thought about maybe having a 3rd consultation if you're unsure about either surgeon? Its so important that you feel that trust and confident from the surgeon you meet hun, without trust do not book the surgery babe. You'll know the one when you meet them hunni, whether it takes another one or ten consultations be sure your 100% happy with both the surgeon and the surgery plan for you. xx

Re: Difference in cc sizes
Hi hon, it's a bit concerning that the first guy did not measure. There are numerous factors when deciding on CC including existing tissue, breast plate width, distance from neck to breast bone, etc.
my surgeon thought I would have an 11cm breast plate width (I am quite small framed) and it measured 13cm! If the guy could get your measurements from just a glance he is either a genius or a silly billy, I am leaning more towards the latter!!!

Re: Difference in cc sizes
I agree with what has been said above.
Like BKOZ, I was measured in all the same ways to establish what base size the implant would need to be, and from there my PS established what cc and profile would give the appropriate projection and fullness I'm after.
If you have any concerns you should go back for additional consultations until you feel at ease with the surgeon and understand what they plan to do to you and why. x
