First work out post BA, WHOOP!
Hey gals! I'm about 5 weeks post op and I finally had my first work out today!!! I went jogging!!! (Okay it was just around the block, but still, it felt GREAT!!!) My boobies did wonderfully and it feels good to work out the rest of my body...boy am I outta shape. YAYAYAYA!
An aside, does anybody feel that since getting a BA that they feel the rest of their body need some serious work!? I keep thinking that my boobs look great, but now the rest of my body looks bleh compare to them. Especially my bum. :(
Hope all is well, ladies!!!

yeah - i feel like a sack of potatoes since my op except my boobs are great :-)
i cannot wait to be able to exercise. i've only been able to go for decent walks since day 10 and everything is turning to jelly!
Well done on your run. Did you feel supported? Did you feel like you are a hot baywatch babe? xxx

Re: First work out post BA, WHOOP!
Have you had the OK to go jogging at 5 weeks post-op hunni?
The general guidance is 6 weeks post-op and then carefully building back up your strength.
Be gentle with yourself at first hunni and listen to your body, good to read you're feeling so good though.
I've had a few things since my BA, only chemical face peel and microderm abrasion and botox, I don't feel it was anything about me being addicted ar anything though, I found when you're in clinics your eyes are opened to wide to what is possible, so at almost 43 I kinda stopped time on my face lol. xx

Getting out of shape really freaks me out... I am not naturally slim and have to work hard not to put weight on. I ride my horse 5-6 times a week. muck out daily, and train 4-5 times a week. and I still can't get below 10.5 stone. GOD knows what I am going to look like after having 4-6 weeks off? I can put half a stone on on a bad weekend! lol

Thats amazing that you feel so good already
I wonder whether this is what I will feel like as well, I am small built but since having my 3rd child have been so depressed with how I look, Ive let myself go a bit :(
Maybe getting new boobies will give me a push to get fit as well! Exciting times, loving the idea of then getting some bits done my face as well Cookie :)

Re: First work out post BA, WHOOP!
Thanks, All!
Cookie--Yep, I got the okay from the doc for work out at 5 weeks post op...Don't worry, I NEVER go too hard on myself when it comes to working out!!! LOL. Anyway, things went really well! I couldn't even feel the implants at all, it felt exactly like jogging/walking before my BA, and I just wore a single generic sports bra and I didn't feel them move hardly at all...Mind you, I got a modest BA and it was under the muscle, so that helped a bit in terms of support.
Georgiana-- I'm not a bit work out fan either, but the BA has definitely pushed me to get the rest of my body looking as good as my new boobies!! We'll see how that goes... ;-) Best of luck huny!!!
