I'm being tested!
So i was out last night and met a couple of people i'd never met before; one being a girl who was so so nice and funny and kind....however! The girls around me started talking about sexy lingerie and various bra brands and i thought to myself 'yes! These are the conversations i will soon be able to join in when my boobs are healed and i get to do some shopping!' they were all saying what sort of bra they were wearing at the time and I looked down and said 'i'm not even wearing one!' (I was wearing a super tight support vest all day yesterday) and one of lovely girl said (and she had HUGE knockers btw - like i reckon 38H or something - 'To be fair you don't really look like you need one'
Now, I know they looked extra small in the vest and with another top over. They looked tiny actually. And i know they are bigger today because i'm wearing a sports bra and a different top but the words stung :-(
I realised how a passing remark like that can really affect ones sense of esteem and confidence. It reminded me of all the times girls commented on my body and how vulnerable it can make you feel.

Re: I'm being tested!
Im hearing you. I had so many people say to me "so have you had them done yet?" and it was horrible.
Maybe because you were so perky she thought why wear a bra when they stand up by themselves!

Ohh no :-( that's not nice at all. I know how comments like that can really hurt though, it's sad isn't it! I think when people know you've had a BA they expect you to have massive, fake looking boobs, which just isn't really the case with many girls! But if they saw the difference between before and after the op then they'd see the full effect. Don't let that girl upset you starsfade, she's probably jealous because yours are so pert and hers are most probably not! Xxx

Re: I'm being tested!
I agree she was probably just jealous, and wishing that she could go out without a bra,
Ignore the bad comments and focus on the good, easier said than done hunni but you know how perfect your boobies are going to be when fully healed,
Xx

Re: I'm being tested!
Do you think she meant it as "you don't need a bra because you have no boobs"? because maybe what she meant was "you don't need a bra because yours look very pert on their own". I think as women we're naturally good at taking things in the worst possible context... or so my husband tells me :D
Anyway, it's early days yet hunni and you'll soon be able to wear all those beautiful tops that show off the clevage :)

^ I was going to ask the same thing! Maybe she was meaning it in a nice way, not in a negative one hun. But as (previously in your case!) flat chested girls it's natural for us to take any comments about our chests in a negative way and think the worst. One of my closest friends is a J cup, and she wishes she could wear a vest on it's own or sleep without a bra on. She sighs and tells me how lucky I am. People who are naturally very big can get down about it too!
I totally understand what it's like to be made to feel awful about having a flat chest though. Believe me I've lost count of the amount of 'friends' who have blatantly laughed at it, or blokes in clubs who have gone 'ewwww! What happened to your tits?!!" Lovely......
Big hugs, and here's to fabulous new bras to show of your new assets very soon! Hurrah for having boobies!!

Re: I'm being tested!
She wasnt trying to be mean so maybe she did mean pert. But they didnt look pert at all last night - just small :-(
Oh well. i'm over it. it just reminded me how much I wanted this boob job so i cld join in with girly conversations more and not be dismissed as not needing a bra. I cant wait to need one!!!!

Don't let it stress you hunni - just keep thinking of the backless tops with no bra! To me that's the best thing about my BA!

Re: I'm being tested!
awww startsfade! hope your feeling better now, its very easy to take comments 'especially' about boobs quite seriously were girls and being very sensitive myself I know I would have taken it that way too, I got the same size implants as you and mine look quite small in tops too, but just got to keep remembering its how you feel about them, I know mine out of clothes look huge on me lol (very katie price lol), but I kind of like the fact they dont look OTT all the time, when your healed up you should just wack them out 'erm so anyone fancy a trip to la senza' lol xx

Re: I'm being tested!
Awww glad your feeling better sweetness, I agree with the others, this may not have been meant in the context you originally took it.
I believe big or small boobs are beautiful! the secret is to be happy with whatcha got! if you're not happy it'll show with you covering up all the time and that happens for big or small boobed women - Love ya boobs and yourself and you'll look fabulous whatever you wear!
