Size for BA?
what is the best way to work out what size to go too? i am debating D to DD, is there alot of difference in size. Final decision is mine as surgeon gave me choice of both but i am debating. I dont want to be huge but dont want to feel i have gone for a too small a size. Suppose your frame makes a difference in the size you go for?
Re: Size for BA?
Yes your frame really does make a difference to which size you have so think carefully about the size you want, you'll find a lot of women here will tell you to go for the biggest you can get, they are early post-op and many women early post-op get boob greed hence the advice to you, a year down the line the boob greed mostly dissapears and they're usually very happy then with the size they have.
There is a markable difference in size between a D and a DD, so think.... would you be happier if your breasts were just that big bigger than what you expected? or that bit smaller?
I've had implants that were too large for my frame and I was as conscious about those as I was about my natural boobs, they're smaller now and I'm much happier, so the old saying "Bigger is always best" is utter rubbish, never listen to that sweetheart, you take time to think about what YOU want from this BA.
Maybe buy two bras, a D and a DD, make some rice boobs ( if you do a search for rice boobs you should find info on how to make them) then wear a white T-shirt and see which of the 2 you think most suits your body frame, dont rush hun, take your time and you'll get there in the end.
Other than that you can take pics in to show your surgeon some boobs that you like, showing him the look you're hoping for. Ask your surgeon if they can take a couple of sized implants in the theatre with them and whilst he has you on the table do their best to give you as close as possible the look you're hoping for. xx

Re: Size for BA?
best thing to do is find picture of exactly the size boobs you want and then show the surgeon that ways best so he will know exactly what size look your thinking about x

Re: Size for BA?
Looking at your figure babe, I'd go for the DDs, I think these would be best to balance out your figure and give you that hour glass look we all hope for.
But thats just me, the choice has to be absolutely yours hunni. xx

Re: Size for BA?
i am more temped for the DDs as i think id sooner think i have gone slightly too big to slightly too small, but definately will try the rice thing out, when i went to surgeon we tried the D but they said they think the DD looked better on me but said my choice. Was going for the DD but then sister said i will look stupid as will be too big for me etc, so put me off a bit.
Re: Size for BA?
i was trying to decide about whether i wanted to D or DD but have decided seeing as im spending lots of money on a ba i dont want to regret not going big enough so think im going for DD. DD would suit you figure really well i reckon, like cookie said it would give you a lovely hourglass shape xx

Re: Size for BA?
Looking at your pic I'd say that 485 will take u much bigger than DD. I had 445cc and an a 36FF now. Very similar height and build to you. If you are happy being a little bigger than you expected to be then go for the bigger size. Altho I'm not unhappy with my size I am conscious sometimes they look bigger than I'd initially have liked and know I could have got away with slightly smaller. xx

Re: Size for BA?
i thought i was having Moderate but found out i am having high, wont these look a bit odd on me?
Re: Size for BA?
Have you tried on the different implants? If not make another appointment with your ps and ask to look at them again. Its impossible for anyone on here to advise you properly from a picture (especially a picture that you say does't accurately represent your body as it looks now as you were pregnant and wearing a padded bra!)

Re: Size for BA?
i tried on sizes, but not different profiles, going back 2moz now :) I am same build as photo just not so full on my boobs
Re: Size for BA?
i am quite wide at the rib area but thin on the side if makes any sense lol so worried that high would look like two ball on me with me being wide.
Re: Size for BA?
Sally is right hunni, your hips get wider and your breasts do swell when you're pregnant, so knowing that, it's really a false illusion for us to guide you.
Before you see your surgeon tomorrow, find some pics of the boobs you'd like, be sure to choose boobs that would fit your frame in reality hun, show your surgeon exactly what it is you'e wanting from your BA and with have the pics with you, both yourself and your surgeon are both reading from the same page have an image right there in front of you both to agree on. xx

Re: Size for BA?
i am having 420cc high apparantely but other boob will have slight different number. Been told to speak to surgeon on the day of the operation and he will advise whether D is the best for me, he did say full D for the 420cc for me. I am excited, but worrying about what shape and size i will have afterwards so i am going to have to take some photos from the internet and send to my phone as wont find anywhere else with topless pics that i can show him lol Want proportion but shape
