Is this rite??
Hi I have my 3 week check up tomorrow ..as i am forever googling when i've got my feet up i found this and im puzzled a little .
I dont have my sports bra cut at the bottom like the lady in the video does . But im wearing the marvollous strap ...which i dont think is going to last the nxt 3 wks its looking rather shabby after 3 weeks and i really have had enough of it .
But im puzzled cos i am sat here thinking well it makes more sense to do what they done snip the bra a the bottom ...cos i do feel like a squashed orange at times n its feels like i have a trapped nerve .. i have to take the strap off cos the pressue does get on my wick at times .
Underwired bra thing ..has anyone done that either i didnt think you where aloud to wear them until at least 6wks . Not that im in any rush to wear on of them at the moment .
Is it true you move your implants like that ? not that im going to even attempt to do that .
xx

Wow - this contradicts almost everything I was told. I'm going to stick with my surgeon's advise. The massage looks very extreme!

Really ??? Ive not touched mine at all ...Oh i will be asking a tone of questions tomorrow at my next check up tomorrow . The massage thing looks harsh not looking forward to learning that at all , all i have done is rub them on the side cos the strap rubs there. xx

This youtube clip is American and probably advised for silicone implants which have a smooth shell, the implants we use in the UK and starting to be more common now in the US a silicone with a textured shell which need different care advice babe.

Don't give up on it hun, you're required to wear it for a reason, it will be putting pressure on your chest to help them start to move around because your chest muscles may be so tight they need a little extra encouragement.
But im puzzled cos i am sat here thinking well it makes more sense to do what they done snip the bra a the bottom ...cos i do feel like a squashed orange at times n its feels like i have a trapped nerve .. i have to take the strap off cos the pressue does get on my wick at times .
The pressure will be because of the textured implants you have, the stability will be encouraging it to adhere to the pocket.

Some women are required by their surgeon to wear a wired bra from day 1 post-op, this isn't because they're lucky or anything like that, they still have a recovery period just as we all do who have to wait weeks before we can wear wires, their surgeom just works different or their breasts might need a little early shaping to bring the breasts a little close together.

No hunni it isn't true.
The implants with soft outer shells do need to be massaged to help prevent CC
With the new generation textured implants there's absolutely no reason to massage, given stability they will adhere to the pocket all on their own. With textured implants you will massage the implant upon instruction from your surgeon only, for example, I had a stubborn boobie and my implant refused to drop, so I was advised to massage my implant to drop and with this technique thankfully it did just that. xx

Thankyou cookie ...I really was thinking w.t..... ??? coz I dont really get that much time with the nurse and i dont want to be asking too many questions .
Its the pressure with the strap and the bra ... although i have changed my band size to a bigger one 32 to 34 its like a cant breath when im tired. The strap is loosing it grip ...like i loose the will to wear it.
Guess im just a tad worn out with being back at work as well ...just looking to trying to make it easier on myself for the nxt few wks xx
