My Story - Mr Singh @ MYA Re-op 615cc Overs
so it was the day before my operation, and to celebrate my mum thought it would be nice to buy some bread and butter pudding (one of my favs) to celebrate, whilst i was eating it it was abit slimey but i munched through it.... 10minutes later she comes running in with the box and anounces it was suppose to be cooked.... yeh so i had the runs for the rest of the night.... great start to my boob job story!
that night i hardly got any sleep, i'm not sure if it was the pain in my boobs from my contracture, the pain in my stomache from eating raw bread and butter pudding or the thought of having my op! I woke up at 6am on the day of my op and we left at 6.30am, my admission time was 9.30 but we had to get there early so my dad could park because mya dont have disabled parking and my dad cant walk far so we needed to get a good space. the jounrey took us alot longer than expected, we passed 3 accidents, 1 lorry fire and then the london traffic kicked in.
When we finally got to mya at 8.55 i was greeted by the receptionist who mustn't be a morning person, she was a little on the grumpy side. But nothing was going to put me down! i got shown to my room and me and my dad settled in and watched some jezza K, i met my nurse and anesatist (cant spell it) who were both lovely! my nurse was called maria, if anyones going to mya highgate and gets her you are in safe hands, she went above and beyond to make sure i was ok and really made me feel welcome, same goes for my anesatist, i think his name was mr chin or chan, he was wonderful, really did put a smile on my face and made me feel like i was in safe hands!
Mr singh came into my room and talked me through the op, asked me what size i wanted and told me what was going to happen, he warned me we might have to stay over night because i was going for a bigger size and being a re-op i might not be well enough to travel, i told him my dad could sleep in the car which he replied... 'or on floor..' pointing down to the wooden boards haha, i love mr singh!
The nurse came in and took my temp and blood pressure and horrified my dad (who is very traditional) by asking me when my last period was and also that i had to take a pregnancy test, paha.
At 11.20 i finally went down, i'm really scared of needles as some of you know so i had two of the nurses downstairs dancing around for me trying to take my mind of it. The burning on my cheeks and in my throat started and next thing i know i was coming round in recovery!
The nurse with me told me i had asked when tea time was 5 times after i came round and then went back to sleep lol, when i went back upstairs i slept for 45mins and then my dad came back in and we watched abit more tv, i felt like crap, i'm not going to lie, i really thought i wasnt going to be aloud to go home, i slept alot and just kept asking for more tablets, everytime i felt a little drousey i just closed my eyes and off i went. at about 4pm i felt alot better, i was in and out of bed and managed to dress myself, i felt alot perkier than i did when i had my first op done, i took travel Guess Who with me and my dad and i played a few times, but then we got into an argument about what origin one of the women on there was and we packed it away, i had some toast and a sandwich and at 6pm i got told we could go home when i was ready, we waited till 7pm thinking we'd miss the traffic, god was i wrong!!! it took us 45mins to join the motorway, we stopped at the services and had a hot chocolate, i got lots of funny looks walking in with my bandages on, hospital bracelet and surgical socks... we then got home at 10.30pm. I've got strapping on my boobs at the moment so dont need to wear a sports bra, although i did last night and it rubbed my insisions really bad! so i'm not wearing it today.
Also i have alot of fluid around my right boob and if i tap it i can here it swish about lol. i feel alot worse today than i did yesterday but i'm being naughty and not really resting much, so after this i'm off to bed with Toy Story 3.
My experience with MYA Highgate was excellent, the staff were brilliant and i couldnt recommend it enough. mr singh is a fab surgeon and so far my boobs look amazing! when i dont feel like a walking zombie ill take some pics and put them up!

my first op i was suppose to pay £500 for these amazing new implants, but he never charged me for them, the day of my surgery was a complete mess, my admission was 10am, i hadnt eaten since the night before and i didnt go into surgery till 6pm! they kept making excuses about the machine not workin, the implants hadnt arrived, there was an emergency....so on.... i was really ill afterwards. aparently my right breast implant had a clack valve on it? something like that, but the left didnt, and when we researched it only saline implants have valves on, and i was def suppose to be having amazing gel implants, i never got told what i had, i was only 17 at the time, mya are trying to track it down for me. thanks girls :D cant wait to get some pictures on here of my new boobs! x

Re: My Story - Mr Singh @ MYA Re-op 615cc Overs
thanks girls, i think the fluid is normal hun because mine keeps going and coming depending how much i do. last night i reallyt struggled, i kept waking up on my side or even on my front and because i couldnt use my arms i had to flap about like a retarded seal trying to get back round lol. i also put my tablets back in the wrong box so i've been taking too many of the wrong tablets... ahhhh boob jobs are sooo confusing!!! haha x

Welcome back dolly and hope you are feeling better today. I enjoyed reading your story and made me laugh (especially the pudding part, the grumpy receptionist, nurses dancing, asking for tea time 5 times, traditional dad horrified with pregnancy test, guess who arguement and toy story). Wish you a fast recovery
