How has your confidence improved since your BA?
Hey girlies,
I'm one day away from my BA, uplift and TT and was just wondering how your confidence has improved since your BA. I hear a lot of girls talking about how their confidence has increased, but confidence is such a wide ranging thing.
Can you provide me with specific examples of ways in which you used to act, behave or think before your boob job and how this has changed since for the better?
e.g. Did you used to get boob envy and since your BA, you don't?
Were you unable to take your top off in front of your partner, but now you can?
Any stories about how your confidence has increased will be read with great interest.
Thanks,
Miss Flump x x x

Re: How has your confidence improved since your BA?
Hi! I always felt uncomfortable being topless in front of my boyfriend, but now I'm always getting my boobs out - think he's bored of the sight of them! I actually started feeling more confident from the moment my op was booked - just knowing that it was definitely going to happen was enough for me to happily get my pre op boobs out for the bf. My thinking was that he couldn't complain about them because he knew they were getting an upgrade soon!
I also used to hate him seeing boobs in films, even Lynx adverts used to make me upset! And I hated walking past Nuts magazines in Tesco with him! I still don't really like it, but it certainly doesn't bother me as much as it used to, and this was the main thing we used to argue about, so our relationship has definitely improved.
When I go bra shopping I don't feel self concious any more, I always used to think people were looking at me and thinking 'what is she doing shopping for bras, she has no boobs!'
Even my posture has changed - my boyfriend told me I walk more upright now.
Yay for boobies! Xx

Re: How has your confidence improved since your BA?
Thanks for the reply, Rachy.
It's funny how different things affect us. Magazines don't bother me with my boyfriend, it's more real boobs on real girls. I feel quite intimidated when a girl with a nice pair of boobs is hanging around. I'm hoping that this becomes less of an issue for me once I get my own pair!
As for bra shopping, I have never been measured as I've always been too embarrassed. I always wear a regulation black bra from Asda, because it's the only style I feel fits me OK. I can't wait to empty my bra drawers and fill them full of more exciting stuff.

Hi Hun
I had my first BA many years ago and it changed my life completely :-) I went from having no boobs and wearing big baggy jumpers to being able to wear lovely tops and summer dresses :-) I didn't cringe anymore if I saw a pic of a page 3 model and I felt so much more sexy! Woo hoo good luck hun xxxxx

Re: How has your confidence improved since your BA?
I think I've always been confident virbally, however if anyone ever commented on my lack of boobs or even so much as talked about boobs I would die inside!!! I never showed this to anyone I kept it to myself. It made me more confident in the fact that I felt more relaxed...I didn't need to hunch my shoulders anymore to try to cover my lack of boobs...or keep pulling the jumpers around me. I found a photo recently where I was wearing the most ridiculouse wastecoat and it bought back all the memories of trying to cover up my lack of boobs.
Miss Flump you must be so excited / nervous etc. You'll love the whole experience I'm sure :-) Good luck sweetie xxx

I like that you felt more relaxed in yourself. I'd love to feel a bit more that way myself and allow that to filter out into other areas of my life that are affected by the way I feel about the way I look. Let's hope this surgery gives me a big boost of confidence!!
