2 weeks post op
This forum has been, without a doubt, a life saver over the last few weeks. Had so many different concerns, but thank you for all your posts.
Had problems with my 32dd bra after 10 days post op, the band around chest was rubbing and causing me lots of pain. Was measured in John Lewis on Saturday and now wearing 32e shock absorber! Didn't expect that! Still getting some discomfort around the band, much less than before, but my skin is red raw. Any advice? Only have steri strips covering stitches, which have almost dissolved and looking really neat so I'm chuffed!
Any advice greatly achieved. Thank you x

Hey hun think u shuld wear a bigger band as thats what will give u problems. if u dont wana pay for another bra, ild put cotton wool around the band to stop it digging in! what size implants did u have if u dnt mind me askin a E thats amazing!!

300 cc HP overs. Was a 32 empty c before. Thought about it for years, but eventually found the perfect surgeon. 34 band far too big as I'm between a 30 and 32 and the bra fitter said it would actually cause more friction which would be awful!I've already bought 4 bras and spent about £100 on bras alone!!x

Hi Hun,
I had the exact same discomfort. I now wear sanitary pads (the plain ones with no wings) just under the band by each boob and the discomfort has gone 100%.
Hope this helps xx

Re: 2 weeks post op
hey there..... wow with 300cc an e...... im an e now and that with 460cc....but i guess its because u where bigger in the cup then me before....
i brought 3 in john lewis.... but i have to say the 34E i brought from asdas is really really good.. even thou its cheap.....
they have em in black and white. and i had the same problem with the rubbing around the band... and my ribs still hurt a bit and the skin... so maybe spend another 6 pounds on an asdas sportsbrah maybe its be better for u ... because i had less problems with that one... the worst one for me personally was the marks and spencer high schock absorber........

HI Isabella,
Ms Lutz was lovely, really reassuring!! She was very good with explaining things and done a great job. My stitches came out fine and the scars are healing nicely!
How are you getting on?? Are you having a good experience? Do they look as good as you expected?? x

Re: 2 weeks post op
WOW what a pallava!
I got about 4 options but wish i went slightly bigger too but i'm happy with them anyway! things started off okay but lately they have started to change....I'm feeling ok in my right boob with no problems, but in my left I have a squelching, swishy feeling and extremely sore & sensitive nipples :-( I get an occasional shooting pain too but its not too bad!
I just keep thinking that it will be worth it in the end! x

Re: 2 weeks post op
lol....
I hated the drains to I was up and ready to go about 2 hours after but they were like 'no you have to stay the full 6 hours' didnt hurt when i got them out tho!!
I was offered 420cc as my biggest but i felt that it would look to 'fake' so i decided on the 380c (should've done the 400cc tho)
I was at the London hospital yeah, my mum took me and kept saying how much it looked like an office block. When she went out to have a smoke she kept saying 'im just leaving the office' LOL it was soo funny the nurses just kept laughin at her as i rolled my eyes!! We travelled about 45mins so not too far no!
Yeah the pain has gone for me but thats coz im sat done and it seems to be worse when i walk :-(. You got any pics up yet hun?? Im putting mine up soon....I've only got them from Saturday so 2 weeks after!! x

Hubby's still cooking & cleaning thou but i make myself coffee's..... boobies have started to feel softer & fluffy at the side & notice a cleveage appearing..... my nipples still feel weird & tender to touch & rock solid around that area.... Re: 2 weeks post op
Glad to hear someone else is doing the same as me, except wish i was at the beach.... I had my BA the same day i landed back in the UK & started speaking spanish after surgery then stuck in the house for a week. I had friends & family come round but wasnt the same as going out to the salon, lunching & shopping with them.... I can't wait till i can lay on my side & cuddle my husband it's been 2 weeks without a cuddle but not that its stopping the other hahaha. Good night & thanks for reply.
