Check what the after-care package you have been given by your clinic covers hun, only the occurances named in your aftercare will be free in the eventuality of those complications happening will be free.
If you have no aftercare package, be sure to get one or some insurance to cover complications babe, you should also discuss this with your surgeon. xx

So true, each doctor or clinic has different policies in regards to what they cover.
Also your implant will have a warranty and it covers certain complications as well.Mine said for 10 years they will cover the total cost if there is a rupture of the implant.I'd pay nothing even if I went to a different surgeon.

Re: if something goes wrong after having an uplift
Most clinics don't cover complications for life sweetie. There are some implants that have lifetime cover, this may mean that although you get a free implant should you suffer a complication, your surgery costs will not be covered so just check up on that hunni as I've read some that very cleverly disguise their own policy that does not offer lifetime cover in with the implant warranty which does having you believe all costs will be covered, so be very aware and be sure to take your time to read what is covered, if you're confused at all, then call the clinic and ask directly are all 'surgical costs' (hospital fees, surgeon, meds and pre and post-op consultations) covered in the lifetime cover. They will be obligated to clear up any confusion with a direct question and be sure to ask who it is you spoke with and get it in writing!
It's so important that you're aware of what you're getting for your money sweetie, to avoid any disappoint post-op. xx
