Day of op!! Empty Day of op!!

Iv just been told iv to be at the hospital for 12.30. was just wondering when i will have my surgery...how many hours before are you supposed to be at the hospital?? any ideas? or maybe is everyone different!

I see you are at a Nuffield. I am too, although mine is Cheltenham x

I am on the morning list, although my surgery slot is actually 12:30pm but I'm guessing they'll break for lunch after my op, and I have to be there at 7:15am!!!!

Hope that helps.

Oh, did you get sent some forms to fill in?? Cos it had my surgery slot written on the top of one of them!

i got forms with all dates and times but they had said i woudnt be told when i was to be admitted until a few days before the op so all i know is when iv to be there but not actual surgery time......

Oh right. Like I say on one of the 2 forms that was in the confirmation from the hospital (that I had to fill in and send back in the pre-paid envelope) it had "12:30" handwritten next to the printed word "slot" so I guess that would be my surgery slot.

It was on the top right hand corner of the front page of one of the forms, can't remember which one though!
